Alan Jilka joined UCM in March of 2013 as an investment advisor and holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) and life and health insurance licenses. In November of 2021, Alan passed the comprehensive board exam and achieved his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Ashley Howard joined United Capital Management of Kansas in December of 2016 as the Director of Marketing. Ashley directs all advertising, social media and event planning.

Brad Blew joined UCM as the investment consultant in Norton, Kansas. Brad graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2018 with a BBA in finance with a concentration in economics. He started in the insurance industry in 2017. Brad holds his Series 63, Series 65 and Series 7. Brad grew up in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He married his beautiful bride, Hayley, in June of 2019. Brad enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, officiating wrestling and being a "girl dad" to their daughter, Blair.

Candice joined United Capital Management in November 2020 with more than 15 years of experience in the financial and banking industries with knowledge in the areas of retail banking, compliance, and financial and insurance planning. Candice is AHIP certified and specializes in helping clients with their Medicare needs.
Candice was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and currently spends part of her time in both the Salina and Wichita UCM offices.
Candice graduated from Newman University with her undergraduate degree in Business Management and in 2008 received her MBA in Finance from Newman as well. She enjoys spending time with family and loves being outdoors with her dog, Bo. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places and likes attending Sporting Kansas City MLS matches.
Chad is CEO and primary shareholder of United Capital Management of Kansas, Inc. He has worked in the investment industry since 1991 after graduating from Tabor College with a degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting.

Mr. Harris has been employed with United Capital Management of Kansas since February of 2017 (4 years). He is Managing Director and Chief Market Strategist, responsible for oversight of $300+ millions of investment assets under management.
Prior to joining UCM, Mr. Harris was President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Sterne Agee Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor. Employed there for 18 years, where he managed institutional investment portfolios as well as their flagship hedge fund.
From 1986 to June 1997 (11 years) Mr. Harris was Vice President, Trust Investment Officer, and Fixed Income Strategist with Regions Financial Corp. He managed institutional investment portfolios as well as a Mutual Fund. Regions is one of the nation's largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management and mortgage products. Prior to the bank he was an investment advisor with Merrill Lynch for 7 years.
Mr. Harris is a U.S. Army veteran. He has a B.S. in Agriculture from Western Kentucky University where he attended on a football scholarship. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

Kylee Kolzow joined United Capital Management of Kansas in July of 2019 as the Director of First Impressions. Even though Kylee is techinically new to the company, she has been a strong support system to our UCM family for several years. Kylee is our OSJ, Ryan Kolzow's beautiful wife and we are thrilled to have her "officially" with us. She is eager to meet existing and new clients and be able to build relationships with them for years to come.
Mark Halpin joined United Capital Management in May of 2019. Mark started in the insurance industry in 1988. He enjoyed helping families and businesses get insured. In 1996 he entered the financial industry to help his clients invest and grow their assets, in addition to providing their insurance needs. Mark holds his Series 63, Series 66, Series 6, and Series 7.
