From the Archives of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nebraska U is a collaborative effort to explore, through primary source research projects and multimedia, the history of Nebraska's oldest University... The site initiated through the efforts of history faculty and students to present their final class projects focused on digital history. Through these classes, along with internships and UCARE grants, students gained hands-on experience using primary source materials. The results are exhibits that both highlight student interests and the history of the university. Students interacted with records and documents from the beginnings of the University in 1869 and events that reflect their own experiences on campus today.
