THE WARDLES BRIDGE INN

A traditional family run country pub in a tranquil setting, mid way between Chester Le Street and Lanchester, yet only six miles from Durham city, and a smaller distance from Tyneside. The Wardles Bridge prides itself for it's excellent locally produced fresh food, as well as it's quality wines and real ales. Our menus change regularly and are influenced by the availability of local game, fish and the Chef, Maggie's flair and imagination. For your special occasion, the restaurant seats sixty guests in comfortable, homely surroundings and up to one hundred guests should a buffet style meal be preferred. The bistro is able to seat up to forty guests for those wishing a less informal atmosphere.
