The latest thinking concerning the wellbeing of our children and young people is becoming increasingly medicalised which is taking the focus off encouraging them and more onto finding root causes and medicating. It is of concern to many that our mental health services are overstretched and in places, almost to breaking point. We need to place our confidence in the younger generation and celebrate so much of the energy and enthusiasm they bring.
