YORKLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Yorkley Primary School is a very popular and well respected Community School of roughly 160 children. Children attend from Yorkley, and neighbouring villages and towns such as Lydney, Bream, Blakeney, Ruardean, St Briavels and Cinderford. It is located in the Forest of Dean, a beautiful rural setting and benefits from updated and extended facilities, last year welcoming an additional classroom due to rising pupil numbers and demand. Ofsted graded the school ‘Good' overall at its last inspection with three of the five areas 'Outstanding'. Children are the heart of our school and their thoughts, needs and opinions are key to helping drive our school forward... I have had the pleasure of leading Yorkley School since April 2012. Together, as a team, we all work hard to make the school a welcoming, secure and exciting place not only for our pupils but their families and the wider community too.
