ABT Heating and Cooling is a family owned and operated HVAC company servicing all of Utah. Brent got his start in the HVAC industry back in the mid 1980s when he and his family moved from Blackfoot, ID, to Orem, UT. He went to work for a local HVAC company and stayed there for a few years working his way to manager. Brent then left that shop and began working at Geneva Steel in the HVAC/Maintenance department. Brent continued at Geneva for years; when he decided to open his own HVAC company in the early 1990s, Excellence in Air Conditioning and Heating was born and Brent continued to work at Geneva Steel during the day and Excellence in Air in the afternoons and nights. Business began to take off and soon after Brent left Geneva Steel to pursue Excellence in Air full time. Brent continued to build and grow his business and opened a commercial division in the late 1990s and went from a one or two man show to a multi-million dollar full service HVAC shop by the mid 2000s.
