AEDIS ARCHITECTURE - Key Persons
I joined the Aedis team in 2017, my first year after graduating college. I use design thinking, in-field construction experience, and architectural technology expertise, as the foundation of my design process. This combination has helped my teams to incorporate innovative ideas into our projects when the opportunities arise.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being an architect is seeing the progression of our designs - from digital lines on a screen, to real life physical buildings. Public schools are an integral part of a community & play a pivotal role in shaping the youth, the experience of knowing that I'm a part of that process is extremely fulfilling. I've always wanted to make a difference with my life, and I appreciate that my work at Aedis allows me to make positive and lasting impact on the communities where we work.

I have been a part of the Aedis Family since 1993. For the past eleven years, I've been the Construction Closeout Administrator. I've always been interested in architecture and construction since I was a little girl. I started at Aedis typing specifications and addenda, and putting plans and specs together for the various projects out to bid. I enjoy the family environment of Aedis and take pride in organizing contracts, files, creating docs to simplify/streamline tasks, etc., and love architecture, and construction.
In my free time I love to crochet while watching TV series and movies, making no-sew fleece blankets (which I'm covering pun intended all my many family members and close friends), attending summer music series concert events, wine tastings, sporting events, traveling, and hiking with my grandkids when not attending their sporting and dancing events.

Since joining Aedis in 2017 as an assistant project manager, I've loved being able to make an impact in the community I lived and played in as a child. Whether it's exterior painting for a site we visited during badminton away games, modernizing the track and field facilities for an old marching band ‘rival,' or building a new facility at the community college generations of my family attended, the impact of my daily work is tangible and fulfilling. I enjoy being surrounded by people who care about improving the lives of others, and who understand the opportunity for architecture to be a means for equity and a venue for inspiration. When I'm not reminiscing or contemplating on our role in the built environment, I'm often venturing out to explore a new hiking trail or introduce generations of friends (and strangers) to slacklining - with no major injuries to date! If I'm not out at a county park, then I'm usually baking up a sweet treat and rarely following the recipe as written.
