Andrew Hazelton

Andrew's retained executive search experience spans over two decades, always with a focus on the global hospitality industry. Andrew launched his executive search career with Korn/Ferry International and then HVS Executive Search. With expertise in a range of functional disciplines including acquisitions/development, asset management, finance, food & beverage, human resources, marketing, operations, revenue management, and sales, Andrew is known by his clients as a strong generalist with broad and deep market expertise. He has completed numerous C-suite searches, and authored articles on executive selection, as well as general human resources and compensation trends. Andrew is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, an active alumni member, and a member of the Penn State Hotel and Restaurant Society. He is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and has been invited to speak at a variety of industry events.

Deb Eininger - SVP

Prior to joining AETHOS™, Debbie's career spanned twenty-five years with Seak International. As a founding partner of Seak, she and her partner created their company's mission to provide strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resource function in diverse industry segments to include consumer goods, retail, and financial services. She worked closely with her client base, in both the public and private sectors, in projects to include executive search, learning and development, individual and team assessment to address the needs of the individual as well as the organization. Prior to Seak, Debbie was VP HR in for a New Jersey-based bank, and Director Worldwide Organization Development for a leading consumer products division of Eastman Kodak. Deb graduated Ithaca College in 3 years (Magna Cum Laude), attended Fairleigh Dickinson University for her Masters in Personnel and Counseling, and received her certification in Human Resources from Cornell University. She was the Executive Producer and Host of the Cable TV Show "Beyond the Art." She is certified in Human Synergistics Assessments and bi-lingual in German.

Dominic Maurer

Dominic Maurer is a Senior Associate at AETHOS Consulting Group™ . Since more than five years with the firm, he has been leveraging his knowledge and experience to help solve HR or talent-related questions on behalf of international clients within the hospitality sector. This entails executive search mandates and compensation advisory work on behalf of both operators as well as owners. Dominic has advised clients, ranging from start-ups to some of the largest players in the industry. Having successfully completed projects across Europe and the Middle East, he has particular expertise in real estate, commercial functions, and operational roles. The exposure to the various facets of the hospitality sector, geographies and different clients feeds his hospitality soul and keeps his passion alive.

Fiona Passalacqua

Her introduction to the executive search industry was an internship with Russell Reynolds Associates in their marketing department. Upon graduation, Fiona spent time working in the non-profit sector, where she honed her skills in community engagement and major donor development. She has joined AETHOS Consulting Group™ as an Associate and is looking forward to immersing herself in the hospitality industry.

Gary Pearl - SVP

As founding partner of Seak International, Gary supported client achievement of business goals, successfully completing assignments in areas to include executive search, team development / training, coaching, performance management, succession planning and the alignment of employee actions with the annual business plan. Seak clients competed in diverse industry segments to include retail, financial services, consumer goods and the public sector. Prior to Seak, Gary had twenty years of corporate Human Resources experience, including directing global HR initiatives while serving as SVP HR/Member of Executive Committee for an international manufacturer of leading household, personal care, and Do-It-Yourself products. Previously he had HR roles within the retail industry. Gary has a master's degree from Columbia University and has served on the Board of Governors for Ramapo College.

Throughout her tenure with AETHOS™, Jen gained valuable experience working hand-in-hand with senior executives of major global corporations both in the public and private sectors, mapping out talent pools and assisting clients in building high-performing teams across a range of functional areas, including revenue management, operations, finance, food & beverage, sales & marketing, and human resources. Jen's earlier career encompassed roles in finance, project management, and procurement, working for large global corporations like FitchRatings, McDonald's, Swiss Re, and UBS. Jen graduated from Syracuse University and holds an MBA in finance from Adelphi University.

Juliette Boone

Juliette brings to AETHOS™ a wealth of experience from her 25-year hospitality industry career. Juliette partners with a broad range of client organizations supporting human capital strategy across a range of functional areas including operations, finance, food & beverage, sales & marketing, asset management, human resources, and revenue management. Moreover, she has spoken and written widely on the subject of women in leadership and professional development. Juliette has been invited to speak at the HR in Hospitality Conference, the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research Summit, the HSMAI Revenue Optimization Conference and other events. She serves as Vice Chair of Engagement on the President's Council of Cornell Women and volunteers with the Castell Project's Castell@College program along with other organizations supporting youth professional development/mentorship. Her experience is complemented with a Master's degree in Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

Keith Kefgen

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Certificate in Hospitality Management from eCornell. Additionally, Matt has furthered his education at the University of California, Los Angeles studying personal and corporate tax. Paige Brewer

Paige is a results-driven human resources executive with an extensive background in a variety of industries including hospitality, consumer goods, media, financial services and non-profit organizations. In her advisory role at AETHOS™, Paige leads teams around the world that deliver more detailed and insightful compensation management solutions to clients. She can create, communicate, implement and administer core HR programs designed to drive high performance cultures ranging from compensation structures to short- and long-term incentive plans to competency-based performance evaluation systems and has facilitated many HR projects in her areas of expertise. Balancing her extensive consultancy experience is her understanding of being in-house, from when Paige worked at Diageo running total rewards, and for American Express in various positions within the compensation department.

Stuart Smith - SVP

With more than 25 years of multi-disciplinary hospitality leadership, Stuart brings a wealth of experience to executive search, having worked for several industry leading hotel, restaurant, and advisory companies. Stuart is a certified general manager with Hilton Hotels and IHG and has open, owned, and operated several restaurants and bars in the U.S., sub-Saharan Africa, and the CIS region. Stuart is a specialist and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, supporting future dive rsity leadership through academic intentional recruitment, mentorship, social orientation and financial resources. Stuart is an alumnus of Cornell School of Hotel Administration.

Terry Donovan - EVP

Terry has worked in many facets of the hospitality business and gained in-depth experience in food and beverage operations, both in front and back of house capacities. Having helped various new F&B businesses to get up-and-running, putting in place standards and operating procedures while also training staff, he has most recently formed part of the opening team at a restaurant in New York City. Terry subsequently took the decision to capitalize on his operational knowledge and experience in managing teams with a view to kick-starting a career in HR consulting. Since joining AETHOS™ in 2015, Terry has worked extensively with hotel ownership groups to build operational teams up and down the organizational chart. He has also carved a niche for himself in assisting investment firms and private equity houses to establish stronger hotel real estate and asset management teams. Technology-functions have equally become more frequently demanded by the clientele he works with. Terry graduated from Syracuse University and received his MBA from Mercy College in Manhattan.

Thomas Mielke

Thomas is fully-certified by the AESC as an executive search consultant and has grown leadership teams on behalf of operators and management platforms, private equity and institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices across EMEA. He brings on board a wealth of experience in identifying and securing senior executives across a wide spectrum of disciplines - from board level to corporate, regional, and unit-level leadership roles. Thomas equally supports organizations in identifying and developing values and best practices that help define corporate cultures and strengthen talent management programs. He holds a BSc in International Hospitality Management from Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne, has authored a broad variety of articles on leadership, recruitment, and talent management, and has participated in and chaired numerous industry panel discussions - including at the annual Young Hotelièrs Summit, the Hotel Asset Management Association, Seatrade, and the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF).
