Doctor Paul H Coleman Jr decided to pursue a career in dentistry as a result of seeing the monthly statement from his orthodontist at the age of 10. He never anticipated he would come to have a career in the field now approaching 50 years.
He was raised in a large Irish family outside Boston. He always enjoyed participating in track and field (javelin thrower, discus, shot put), and tennis, and played football and ice hockey through college while receiving a double major in chemistry and biology. He graduated from Tufts Dental School at the age of 24 and volunteered for three years of service in the Navy Dental Corp.
As a fanatic about continuing education, he continued to add skills to his arsenal. He studied and was licensed to perform Oral Conscious Sedation, Rotary Endodontics, Invisalign, and Oral Appliance Therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
