Daniel Aguilar

Daniel Aguilar now Managing Partner at BEXAR ENGINEERS & ASSOCIATES, LLC was Principal Owner of Aguilar Engineering Services for the past 4 years and has over 17 years of experience in engineering and working with municipal agencies. Through his involvement with FEMA and Master Planning efforts he has accumulated extensive knowledge in hydrology and hydraulics and has extensive experience throughout Bexar County from localized drainage analysis to design of large channels and storm water systems. Daniel has brought projects from conceptual design to construction in his 17 years in the private and government sector. As part of the LOMR Delegation Daniel served as the Local Review Manager for the San Antonio River Authority, he was responsible for managing multiple hydrology and hydraulic related designs and studies, including master planning of large watersheds. Daniel's experience includes storm water management, floodplain analyses, LOMC submittals, drainage design of regional flood control CIPs, and coordination with FEMA as Program Manager for RisKMAP. RiskMAP is a nationwide program developed by FEMA to work together with States, Tribes, and local communities in building an understanding of a complete picture of their natural hazard risk. Daniel aslso served as the Floodplain Administrator for the City of San Antonio were he was tasked with overseeing the review all developments in the City and ETJ to assure compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations.

Through various types of Land Development Projects he has accumulated extensive experience in permitting and Building Code applications throughout Bexar County and other cities in Texas. Mr. Leija has brought projects from conceptual design to construction in his 20 years in the private sector
