Dave Meisters

Mr. Meisters acquired Air Monitoring Services and Technology, LLC (AMSTech) in 2014. Before coming to AMSTech in 2011, Mr. Meisters worked for several environmental consulting firms with projects in the U.S. and abroad. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Meisters' technical expertise and experience is unique. He is highly knowledgeable in air quality instrumentation (gaseous and particulate), meteorological instrumentation, data telemetry and processing, quality assurance programs, quality control procedures set fourth by federal, state and local air monitoring regulations and guidelines. He has designed, built, installed and managed numerous air quality monitoring station networks and specializes in troubleshooting site problems and instrumentation issues. His environmental consulting experience includes specialized air-related programs such as Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) monitoring, and he spent ten years working on full service remediation projects for a major oil refinery on the west coast.

Mitch Walker

Mr. Walker has over 25 years' experience installing, maintaining, and auditing meteorological, ambient air quality, optical, and oceanographic monitoring equipment. His experience also encompasses all aspects of data collection, validation, and reporting. Mr. Walker manages and provides operational support to monitoring network personnel, and his background includes projects related to atmospheric science as well as support of oceanographic and coastal monitoring programs. Mr. Walker is also a partner in the consulting firm RMIdata, LLC (RMI). RMI has been contracted by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since 2007 to conduct maintenance and calibration of a nationwide meteorological monitoring network. The data from this network supports emergency response dispersion modeling for the US Navy and supporting facilities. Other contracts have included auditing, calibration and maintenance for PSD ambient air quality and meteorological monitoring systems, and the design and installation of solar resource monitoring systems for industrial scale solar power plants and booster stations in the southern US and abroad.
