On August 9, 1972, John H. Norwood received his California State Contractors License. Shortly after, in 1978, The Norwood Family moved to the town of Valley Center, California, and started operating and doing business locally. In 2007, John's daughter, LaVonne Norwood, took over the family business, making it a second-generation business.
