Mr. Eli Cohen founded Ashgar in 2003.
Mr. Eli Cohen formerly served as the Chief Executive Officer of IDB Holding Corporation Ltd. (the largest Investment group in Israel) from 1985 to 2010, as the Chairman of Clal Insurance Ltd. (a leading Insurance group in Israel) from 1998 to 2006, and as the Chairman of the management of Israel Discount Bank Ltd. from 1981 to 1985. He also served as a board member of several leading companies in Israel including: Discount Investments Corporation Ltd., Sufersol Ltd. (Israel's leading food retailer), and Property and Building Corporation Ltd. (a leading real estate company in Israel).
Mr. Eli Cohen holds bachelor degree in law from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
Mr. Guy Cohen is the Chief Executive Officer and a shareholder of Ashgar. He serves as the CEO of Ashgar since 2005. Mr. Cohen also serves as the CEO of Ardal Investments Ltd. (a capital markets investment corporation) since 2004.
Mr. Guy Cohen formerly served as an Investment Manager in Ilatnot Betucha Ltd. (a leading Investment house in Israel) from 1997 to 2004, managing investments amounting to billions of Israeli shekels.
Mr. Guy Cohen holds graduate degree in business administration (MBA) from The Collage of Management Academic Studies Tel Aviv, Israel.
Mr. Raanan Cohen is a Managing Director and a shareholder of Ashgar.
Mr. Raanan Cohen has over 10 years' experience in leading, as CEO, publicly traded investment companies (traded in Israel and the US), conducting private equity investments across diversified sectors including: Telecommunication Services, Telecommunication Equipment, Agrochemicals, Digital Printing and Financial Services.
Mr. Raanan Cohen served as the CEO of Koor Industries Ltd. (2006-2015), as President and CEO of Scitex Corporation Ltd. (2004-2006), and as Vice President of Discount Investments Corporation Ltd. ("DIC") (2001-2015).
Mr. Raanan Cohen also served as a board member in several Israeli and US publicly traded companies, including: Adama Agricultural Solutions Ltd. (the world's largest generic agrochemical player), Cellcom Israel Ltd. (Israel's largest cellular player), ECI Telecom Ltd. (large telecommunication equipment player), Scitex Corporation Ltd. (leading digital printing player), and Epsilon Investments House Ltd. (boutique financial services provider).
Prior to joining DIC, Mr. Raanan Cohen was an associate at McKinsey & Company, Inc. in London and prior to McKinsey he served as an attorney at S. Horowitz & Co.
Mr. Raanan Cohen holds bachelor degrees in law and in economics from Tel Aviv University and a master degree in management from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
