Dr. Dejan is an extremely sought-after surgeon, renowned for his incredible work ethic. This comes from his time in the army, where he had to decide between the military and medicine. Lucky for us, medicine won. After university, he chose plastic surgery as his medical speciality. He has significant expertise and interest in working with victims of trauma, helping them to restore their bodies, health and well-being. He has been granted full specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council for plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and is a member of the Croatian Medical Chambers and Croatian Plastic Surgery Association. He is also an affiliated member of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons. Interestingly, Dr. Dejan was invited to compete in ‘Dancing with the Stars' in Croatia but unfortunately, Covid struck and he was unable to showcase his dancing prowess! He now lives with his wife Daria in Greystones Co Wicklow, where he enjoys playing guitar, biking and hiking.

Dr. Khan is a world renowned and fully accredited plastic surgeon who has spent most of his career working in Northern Ireland where he was one of the lead Accredited NHS Plastic Surgeons before exclusively joining The Avoca Clinic team. Prior to his NHS role, Dr. Khan worked in Galway for many years and provided breast reconstruction and Burn care services in the regional unit for over two decades. Dr. Khan served as Training Program Director for Plastic Surgery in Northern Ireland Deanery and also has multiple publications in international peer review journals. He has also presented and audited his work in international conferences. Dr. Khan completed his Breast fellowship at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and Atlanta, Georgia where he learned from world famous names such as Dr. Carl Hartramph, Dr. Franklyn Elliot and Dr. Fawad Nahai. Dr. Khan has a genuine passion for helping people and has travelled around the world carrying out charity work after major disasters. He is looking forward to spending his time in Greystones with his family where he has a house by the sea!
