Alexander Brauer

Alex Brauer is a sought-after trial attorney who helps clients resolve their business disputes. He has taken numerous matters through trial before both judges and juries and has an exceptional track record. Given his expertise, clients utilize Alex to handle disputes in state and federal courts in Texas and throughout the country. Benjamin Stewart

In the commercial litigation context, Mr. Stewart has handled cases involving fraud, contractual disputes, theft, breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, violation of restrictive covenants, antitrust, insurance coverage disputes, and officer/director liability. In the bankruptcy litigation context, he has represented clients in adversary proceedings, claims administration and objections, estate valuation disputes, contested confirmation hearings, and contested matters related to lifting or extending the automatic stay, assuming and rejecting contracts, and cash collateral/adequate protection issues. Mr. Stewart has also assisted companies with internal investigations and government investigations-including responding to civil investigative demands from the SEC and CFTC. He graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as a moot court editor and judge. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association and Texas Bar Foundation.

A former litigation section chair at an international law firm, Mr. Bailey offers both plaintiffs and defendants sophisticated legal representation in the litigation, trying and appeals of cases involving contract disputes, business torts, RICO, employment law, trade secrets, deceptive trade practices, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust, unfair business practices, Packers and Stockyards Act, and wrongful death. He also represents clients in putative class actions and mass action lawsuits. Mr. Bailey has litigated and/or tried cases in federal district and bankruptcy courts, and in state courts located in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia. He has briefed and argued appeals before various federal and state appellate courts, including the Supreme Courts of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, various intermediate appellate courts throughout Texas and Louisiana, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Federal Circuits.
