Jonathan is the Chief Executive Member and Senior Attorney at The Berry Group. Jon's primary focus is assessment and mitigation of risk, for a broad spectrum of clients, and ultimately litigating disputes as they arise. Over the years, Jon has taken a keen interest in issues of economic development in Maine, and endeavors through his own advocacy projects to alter policies that hinder the growth of Maine's businesses.
Some of Jon's professional memberships include the Maine State Bar Association, the Cumberland Bar Association, the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Falmouth Economic Development Commission. However, he is most proud of his association with local booster clubs, as well as supporting and coaching his sons' youth sports programs.
Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and the University of Maine School of Law. As reflected by the publication of a number of his articles, to the Maine legislature and various trade publications, Jon enjoys writing and lecturing on subjects including constitutional law, corrections policy, government relations, and Maine's state and local economic development policies.
