Alex Bell

Bio Alex Bell began practicing law in Hampton Roads in 2013 and has distinguished himself as a leading litigation attorney with broad courtroom experience. Bell approaches each client on an individual basis, focusing his legal expertise on his clients' unique issues and fighting for the results his clients deserve. Having successfully achieved several high value settlements and verdicts for his clients, Alex Bell is distinguishing himself as leading litigation attorney in Hampton Roads. He is a 2003 graduate of Norfolk Academy, 2007 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and a 2012 graduate of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. In 2013 Bell was sworn into the Supreme Court of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. In 2012 Bell was a summer law clerk for the honorable Charles E. Poston in the Norfolk Circuit Court. He began his law career at Stackhouse, Nexsen & Turrietta, PLLC focusing on Workers' Compensation defense and insurance defense. Bell then joined Bischoff Martingayle P.C. and focused on civil and commercial litigation as well as starting a workers' compensation claimant's practice. For the last five years Bell operated his own general litigation law firm in downtown Norfolk where he represented a variety of clients from workers compensation claimants, to criminal defendants, as well as a variety of other clients facing various litigation issues. He values public service and has offered his counsel and services to organizations in and around Hampton Roads with a particular passion for the fishing industry.

Brandon Matthews

Bio Brandon Matthews is a partner with Bush & Taylor, P.C. He graduated from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. While attending law school, he served as a judicial clerk in the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and interned with various private practice firms across Hampton Roads. Brandon received his undergraduate degree from Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he was a four year NCAA athlete for the men's varsity baseball team in addition to being a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and the Student Athletic Advisory Counsel. Brandon cares for his community and currently serves as a board member for numerous nonprofit organizations. He is currently the president of Dogs Deserve Better, located in Surry, Virginia, serves on the Board of Trustees for the Williams School in Norfolk, Virginia, and is the President of the Suffolk Bar Association. He has been an attorney with Bush & Taylor, P.C. since graduating from law school. He is a lifelong resident of Chesapeake, Virginia and currently resides there with his Wife and family. Brandon is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia and represents clients in all jurisdictions throughout Hampton Roads area and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. His practice areas include family law, criminal law, civil litigation, traffic law, personal injury law, and adoption proceedings.

Brandon Wilder Attorney

Brandon Wilder was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area. He graduated from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach and received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. While at Washington and Lee, Brandon was an NCAA Division III student-athlete as a member of the men's varsity swim team and was voted a team co-captain his senior year by his teammates. Prior to attending Washington and Lee, he graduated from Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Virginia. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Currently, Brandon's practice areas include civil litigation, criminal law, family law, and traffic/DUI cases. Brandon is a member of several professional organizations including the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division, and the Suffolk Bar Association.

Fred D. Taylor

Fred D. Taylor is a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and he received his undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University. He serves on the board of directors for several local non-profit organizations, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia Suffolk Unit, Preservation of Historic Suffolk, Riddick's Folly House Museum, the Suffolk SPARC Initiative, and he is a former President of the Suffolk-Nansemond Historical Society. An advocate of constitutional liberties, Fred serves as an affiliate attorney with the Rutherford Institute. Additionally, Fred is a past President of the Suffolk Bar Association as well as a member of the Franklin-Southampton County Bar Association, and Virginia Beach Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Western District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. With a reputation for results as a litigator, Fred's practice areas include business law, civil law, criminal law, elder law (with a focus on guardian and conservator litigation), family law, juvenile and children's law, land use and zoning law, personal injury, and white collar crimes. Julian Bouchard Attorney

Bio Julian is a Suffolk native having grown up locally, attending Nansemond River High School. Following his graduation, he attended the University of Virginia where he earned his undergraduate degree. After college, Julian attended Regent University School of Law where he graduated in 2011 with his J.D. Prior to coming to Bush & Taylor, Julian worked as Commonwealth's Attorney in Portsmouth, and later in private practice in Chesapeake. His private practice career has focused primarily on defending individuals who have been charged with crimes a both state and federal levels. With Bush & Taylor, Julian currently handles a wide range of legal matters from simple traffic offenses, to complex homicides. He also handles cases in areas of family law such as: divorce, elder law, estate planning, and complex civil disputes. Most importantly, Julian cares about his community. He donates his time to directing and performing in plays at the Smithfield Little Theatre. He also works with Historic Smithfield, a non-profit organization, in putting on a yearly play that is performed at the 1750 Isle of Wight Courthouse. These plays are reenactments of actual court cases that took place in the 1700's at the Isle of Wight Courthouse. Additionally, these venues also host acting programs for children, where Julian donates his time to ensure that the next generation grows to love and appreciate the art of acting and performing.

Justin Bush

Mr. Bush is currently the managing partner of Bush & Taylor, P.C.. Since 2005, Mr. Bush's law practice has been focused in the areas of family law, criminal law, and complex civil litigation. Additionally, Mr. Bush has been recognized by several national publications for his work in these legal areas of practice. These awards include being given an "AV" Preeminent," as well as a client rating of "Preeminent" with Martindale-Hubbell, the oldest and most prestigious attorney rating service in the world. He has also been endorsed by his peers as" highly ethical" by his peers as noted by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Bush also enjoys a perfect Avvo rating of "10," as well as being an annual recipient of the Avvo Client Choice Award for his performance. Finally, Mr. Bush has been included by Thomas-Reuters since 2008 as a Virginia Super Lawyer in the area of family. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Bush was an honor graduate of Virginia Tech University and later Regent University School of Law. Since that time he has been a guest lecturer and speaker at his law school and in 2015 at the age of 37 he joined the law school faculty as an adjunct professor of law, a position that he has held since that time. Sean Domer

Bio Sean Domer grew up in Indiana, Pennsylvania before moving to Virginia in 2008 to pursue his education. He attended Radford University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Sean was a decorated member of the Radford Men's Track and Field program; setting the school record in javelin and earning two Academic All-American awards during his collegiate career. After college, Sean attended the Washington and Lee University School of Law where he graduated in 2015 with his J.D. He is now admitted to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court. Prior to coming to Bush & Taylor, Sean spent over five years working as an Assistant Public Defender for the City of Suffolk. He gained invaluable experience in the practice of criminal law during that time and is well equipped to assist you with handling any traffic ticket, misdemeanor, or felony charges you may encounter. Sean also practices in the areas of domestic relations law and real estate. Sean is a proud and devoted husband and father who cares deeply about the local community and particularly youth athletics. On most weekends he can be found umpiring at one of the many youth baseball facilities in the Tidewater area.
