We are committed to Building Communities of Hope, a nationwide effort to prevent the need for foster care by supporting families in raising safe, happy and healthy children... Casey Family Programs works to influence long-lasting improvements to the well-being of children, families and the communities where they live. We provide consulting services to child welfare systems; direct services to children and families; public policy resources; and research and analysis. Our approach is based on learning from and collaborating with those who are working to improve the safety and well-being of children and their families, especially those with lived experience with the foster care system... As an operating foundation, we are able to provide services free of charge. Since our founding in 1966, we have invested more than $2.9 billion to support improvements in programs, services and public policies that benefit children and families in the child welfare system.
