Dr. Marshall graduated magna cum laude from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, he completed a pulmonary disease fellowship there. Dr. Marshall is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine and has been providing comprehensive care for pulmonary disorders, critical care conditions and sleep disorders for nearly 30 years. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as medical director for the Lexington Medical Center Respiratory Therapy department and vice chief of Medicine for the hospital. Dr. Marshall is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the Lexington County Medical Society. Alongside the board-certified physicians and highly skilled staff at Carolina Pulmonary, Dr. Marshall offers a full range of services in the diagnosis and treatment of adult acute and chronic lung disease, as well as quality critical care and sleep medicine services. He also evaluates, diagnosis and treats sleeps disorders, such as sleep apnea, snoring and restless leg syndrome, among other conditions, at Lexington Sleep Solutions.
