Ahmed has a Masters Degree in Food Service Engineering & Management from Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès, France. He is also certified by Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) for understanding & implementing HACCP and attended courses for HAS (Halal Assurance System). He has attended various specialized training courses related to his field in Germany, England and USA. Ahmed has over 40 years of experience working in the hospitality industry in Europe, Africa and Asia. He specializes in institutional foodservice systems & equipment, commercial refrigeration, solid and liquid waste management systems. He is a stalwart of the foodservice industry, being a professional member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International for over 32 years. Ahmed is renowned for the design of the largest central food production facility in Asia at Resort World Genting with a production capacity of a staggering 44 Million meals per annum. Another notable project that Ahmed has helmed is the Charterfield/Eurest Malaysia Kitchens and 24 hour meal delivery service system for 16,000 meals per day for International Construction Workers dining, during the construction of brand new airport at Sepang. Besides the above, Ahmed has worked on the Central Kitchen at EON Pune (India) Kampung Kravers Food Production Plant (Malaysia), and Central Production Plant for PT Dapur Solo Mustika Nusantara, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Joseph R Albert is an accomplished professional with 13 years of experience in F&B consulting, kitchen equipment development and design. He is fuelled by his passion and understanding of the nuances of cuisines from different parts of the world. Melissa Yarman is is a graduate in BEng (HONS) Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and is a professional member of the Foodservice Consultant Society International (FCSI). Additional accomplishments include completing a certificate program with Cornell University in Hotel Planning and Design. Melissa Yarman, Principal Consultant and VP Operations of CKP Hospitality Consultant, leads the Dubai branch in charge of the EMEA division. Melissa Yarman has played a key role in growing CKP's presence in the EMEA region through providing services such as F&B Operational Facilities Planning, F&B Logistics and Strategy Master Planning, Solid Waste Management and Strategy Mapping as well as Foodservice & Laundry Design Consultant. Melissa Yarman has led the delivery of over 30 hotel projects ranging from new builds to retrofits, ranging between branded residences to Ultra Luxury brands.

Prakash Alagu

Prakash holds a Degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Mechanical) from University Malaya, Malaysia. He has a decade of professional experience in the field of Mechanical and Electrical Services in multi-storey projects such as mega-malls, luxury condominiums and 5-Star hotels. His 11 years in CKP has seen him handling projects in Qatar, UAE, India, Macau, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and Malaysia. Being the go-to guy when it comes to projects Down Under since 2010, Prakash has had the good fortune of working on numerous high-end restaurant projects at the Crown Perth, some of which are run by celebrity chefs. He oversaw the successful handover of the foodservice facilities of the five-star Crown Towers Perth in 2016, which set a new benchmark in Western Australia.

Since graduating with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering & Applied Mechanics from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, Vant has devoted himself to foodservice consulting with an unwavering passion for quality and consistency. He believes good design begins with insights into the total customer experience. The overall ambience, how they feel when they walk into a restaurant, the manner in which they are seated and served, their perception as food is prepared, are all factors he takes into account in his design process. He works closely with operators and chefs on all details to ensure the design matches their vision, intent and operational needs.
