In 1993 I came to Costa Rica with my family. We came here with a motor home after travelling through the United States and Mexico. We first settled down in Guanacaste in a small village in the highest mountain range of the Nicoya Peninsula where we bought a farm and built a house. We were the first foreigners living in that area - pioneers so to say.
