Jay Downing

Jay recieved his nursing degree from Iowa Lakes Community College, his BSN from the University of Iowa and his MSN from the University of Cincinnati. He has been in healthcare since 2001 and has spent most of his career in the emergency department. He was also a member of the Army Nurse Corps in the Iowa Army National Guard for 12 years. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and biking and kayaking in the Lakes area.

Maureen Reeves Horsley

Maureen Reeves Horsley completed her BSN from Marycrest College, Davenport, Iowa and worked in public health inner city. She completed the University of Iowa graduate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner( PNP) Program in the 3rd class. Her Master's of Science (MS) major Nursing/Education was completed at SDSU, Brookings, SD. While working as a PNP in 13 rural NW Iowa county clinics, she completed her post graduate Family Nurse Program (FNP) at SDSU, Brookings, SD. She has enjoyed serving clinical patients and teaching for over 45 years. She loves working "as needed" for Crown Clinics Being Grandma, enjoying family, nature, travel, and serving others are her joys.

Peyton Hantelman

Peyton graduated from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD, with her RN and BSN degrees in 2019, and her MSN, FNP degree in 2022. She has spent much of her nursing career in the clinic setting, as her passion has always been family practice. When she is not seeing patients in the clinic, she practices Aesthetic Medicine. She was born and raised in Armstrong, Iowa, and still lives in her hometown with her husband and dog. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, exercising, and spending time friends and family.

Sue Brugman

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Sue earned a nursing diploma from St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing, a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Iowa, and a master of science in nursing (MSN) degree from Briar Cliff University. She has over 35 years of nursing experience, and has spent the majority of her career working in orthopedics and surgery. She has served as an adjunct instructor at Iowa Lakes Community College, and is currently providing healthcare services to patients at the Grand Avenue Free Medical Clinic in Spencer, IA, as well as caring for Crown Clinics patients. In her spare time, Sue enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
