Welcome to the online home of the Connecticut Italian American Bar Association ("CIABA")! Formed in 1993 by the late Superior Court Judge Richard M. Marano, CIABA is a vibrant organization that aims to encourage professional excellence as well as camaraderie and fraternity in the legal profession, to advocate for diversity in the bar, and to preserve, promote, and advance Italian culture in the Connecticut legal community. We have more than 100 members who practice in all corners of the State and represent a wide and diverse group of legal specialties, practices, and nationalities.
