Richard McCrea

Richard McCrea qualified from the University of Teesside in Aug 2000. After qualifying, he worked in the North East of England before working in Australia in 2003. On returning to the UK, Richard spent 3 years rehabilitating clients from injuries such as fractures, post surgery ACL, musculoskeletal sporting injuries and educating clients on back care management with the aim of returning clients to pre- injury levels of fitness and activity. Richard has an extensive range of rehabilitation exercises suitable for all clients. In 2008, Richard completed an APPI Pilates class instructor module and uses Pilates exercises in rehabilitation programs. Richard teaches Pilates classes at the Killymoon golf club and at the Cookstown Leisure centre. Richard continues playing senior rugby with Rainey Old Boys. Playing rugby at senior level has helped with an understanding of sports injuries that can occur in men and women. He had an ACL reconstruction in 2002 and has empathy with clients going through the same experience
