Initial Consultation: This includes meeting with you and presenting a portfolio of my work, as well as a preliminary survey and discussion of the prohect. I try to get a sense of your likes and dislikes to determine issues of style and the foundations of design. We should try to match budget with expectations. This meeting gives us a chance to determine our compatibility, and whether we feel we could work well together. If so, I propose to you some, or all of the following services, which I generally provide in the order listed below... Schematic Design Concept: In this phase I measure and record the existing conditions pertinent to the project. Based upon our initial discussion, I then generally provide a couple of design alternatives. These would be faily simple drawings relating to the layout of the space and the form of any alterations to existing structure.
