DAVID DAVID MEDICAL SERVICES

Professor David graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from Adelaide University in 1966. He continued postgraduate studies in the UK specialising in Craniofacial Surgery at a time when this speciality was in its infancy. Together with other pioneers in this field, he helped to establish the speciality of Craniofacial surgery and the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery. Since then, based back in Adelaide, Professor David established the world renouned Australian Craniofacial Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Women's and Children's Hospital. He has worked to establish and expand Craniofacial healthcare networks throughout Australasia and Asia. Professor David has been instrumental in establishing Craniofacial surgery as a discipline in its own right and changing the negative perception often held of individuals with craniofacial deformities therefore, changing faces /changing lives... 1992 South Australian of the Year 1998 Humanitarian..
