Dr. Stephanie Yohannan joined the school board in 2021. Stephanie moved to Glenview in 2018 and has two children that attend Willowbrook.
Stephanie Yohannan received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Northpark University. She is the Associate Vice President of Nursing at Rush University Medical Center.
Stephanie is excited to join the school board and hopes that her 15 years of nursing experience will provide advocacy of health and mental wellbeing for all children of District 30.
Stephanie has completed all required training and will be up for reelection in April 2025, when her current term expires.

Ammar Rizki joined the school board in April 2019. He and his wife Sonia have lived in Northbrook since 2014. Their son and daughter currently attend Wescott.
Ammar received a B.Sc. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a MBA with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Cook County Government, where he is responsible for a $5.9 billion annual budget and has over 19 years of national and international professional experience in finance and investment management.
Ammar has volunteered on the Wescott P.T.O's Lower Board, served as a room parent and chair's the camping committee for Cub Scouts Troop 182. He has also volunteered for Working in the Schools, a not-for-profit organization that mentors kids in the Chicago Public Schools.
Ammar has completed all required training and will be up for reelection in April 2023, when his current term expires.

Jeff Zuercher and his wife Grace have lived in Glenview for 15 years. His three children attend Willowbrook and Maple. Mr. Zuercher received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He currently works for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District as the Assistant Chief of Programs and Project Management, Program Manager for the Great Lakes Mississippi River Interbasin Study, and Project Manager of several other projects.
Mr. Zuercher works with teams of engineers, local government entities and the public on solving issues while ensuring that taxpayer money is wisely spent. He maintains that his work has provided him with skills that will apply to serve on the Board of Education.

Keith Karchmar and his wife Taryn have lived in Northbrook since 2007. His son an...
Keith Karchmar and his wife Taryn have lived in Northbrook since 2007. His son and daughter currently attend Wescott.
Keith received his BA from Indiana University at Bloomington and his Masters of Science in Taxation (MST) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Business. He is in private practice in which he specializes in life insurance with an emphasis on tax, estate, business succession and wealth transfer planning.
Keith has volunteered in both the private and public school system covering wide-ranging roles, from a school board member to a freshman football coach. He also volunteers as a little league baseball coach for Northbrook Action Baseball.
Keith is excited to join the Board of Education and work with the administration and the faculty to achieve the best results for the students and families they serve. Keith believes that with this exceptional collaboration in which everyone is engaged to improve the lives of every citizen in District 30…the end result will be that our students will reach outstanding levels of success in and out of the classroom.

Patrick Wang joined the District 30 Board of Education in April 2023. He and his wife Gigi have lived in Northbrook since 2019. Their two sons currently attend Wescott and Maple.
Patrick received his MBA focus on executive corporate management from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He is a seasoned corporate banker, with previous experiences at multinational banks such as Citi and HSBC focused on global client relationship management and credit risk management.
Patrick and his wife are involved in PTO volunteering opportunities, and their kids are actively participating in multiple sports club activities. These opportunities have deepened and enhanced the connection between the family and the local community.

April was born and raised on a dairy farm in rural Vermont. She earned a degree in history with a minor in education from Middlebury College. She completed her student teaching with the National Teacher of the Year at Middlebury Union High School. She worked for three years teaching middle school social studies in Montpelier, Vermont. In 2011, she received the James Madison Memorial Foundation Fellowship, awarded to one teacher from every state, which funded her graduate study at the University of Southern California. While at USC, she worked with the football team as an Assistant Learning Specialist and as an Education Technology Research Assistant with the Shoah Foundation.
After completing her Master of Arts in Teaching, she taught 7th and 8th grade history for three years at a progressive private school in Pasadena, CA. Professionally, she especially enjoys building relationships with kids, collaborating with colleagues, designing creative projects, and integrating technology into the classroom. Personally, her favorite things to do are to travel, host dinner parties, ski, camp, hike, and meet new people. She's very excited to be a part of the warm Maple Community.

Pamela Manicioto joined the school board in April 2023. She and her husband, Vito, have lived in Northbrook since 2016. Two of their sons attend Wescott while their youngest is at the GBN High School preschool.
Pamela received a BA in Political Science from TCU and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. She started her career as an attorney at one of Chicago's largest bankruptcy firms. Pamela hit pause on her thriving career so she could devote herself to all aspects of her children's education.
Pamela volunteers frequently at Wescott. She served as room parent as well as being actively involved with Wescott's PTO. She co-chaired the Spiritwear and Monster Mash committees. Volunteering has given her the opportunity to get to know many of the teachers, staff, parents, and students in the District 30 community.
Pamela will be up for reelection in April 2027, when her current term expires.

Zivit Blonder joined the school board in April of 2019. She and her husband Steve moved to Northbrook in 2003, and their two sons attend Wescott and Maple School.
Her undergraduate degree is in Education and Environmental Studies from Ben Gurion University. She earned her Masters Degree in Israel. She is a travel consultant in a family-owned business planning family Israel trips, and her previous employment in Israel was working in missions and fundraising for the Jewish Agency for Israel. Before that, she was employed by Intel Israel and the World Union of Jewish Students after her army service in a secret air force unit as an educational officer.
She has had been a consistent presence within District 30's schools, volunteering at every opportunity. In 2015, she was elected president of the Wescott PTO for a two-year term. She spearheaded the inclusion of social responsibility and volunteer opportunities into all PTO programs, led the outreach efforts to make the PTO accessible to all families, and developed events to build a stronger sense of community.
She has also served on a variety of district-wide task forces. In connection with the successful referendum and community efforts to build a new Maple School, she served on the Citizens' Task Force and then on the Campaign Leadership Committee. She also served as a member of the District 30 Food Service Committee that ran a thorough process that resulted in selecting Quest as our new food service.
