Amy J. Brown

Ms. Brown joined DPI as Vice President Property Management in December 2020 and directs the property management department. Ms. Brown has worked in the shopping center industry for 30 years in both field and corporate positions for property management and marketing. She has extensive experience in construction, renovations, tenant relations, vendor management, budgeting, strategic marketing, event management and public relations.

Frederick Vitt - President

Mr. Vitt joined DPI in February, 2003 and is responsible for the leasing, operations and management of DPI's 1.2 million square foot retail portfolio. Prior to joining DPI, Mr. Vitt was Regional Vice President of Safeway, Inc. in Chicago, where he was responsible for leasing all excess properties in the eastern United States. From 1997-2002, Mr. Vitt was Regional Vice President of General Growth Properties, a major manager, developer and owner of regional shopping centers throughout the United States. Mr. Vitt was responsible for eight regional malls in the Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Nashville and Myrtle Beach areas totaling approximately eight million square feet. From 1992-1997, Mr. Vitt served as Operations Manager for Rubloff, Inc. in Chicago, a major developer and owner of industrial, office, residential and retail community centers. Mr. Vitt holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management from Mankato State University. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and holds the ICSC Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation.

Janet Delahoussaye - VP

Ms. Delahoussaye joined DPI in July, 1990. She works as a Transaction Coordinator and provides asset management support in development and operations including acquisition, redevelopment, financing, sales and property management, as well as acting as a liaison with third parties such as lenders, attorneys, brokers and contractors. Ms. Delahoussaye is also responsible for office management including human resources, the hiring, training, and supervision of administrative staff, and oversees the management of information technology systems and networks. Ms. Delahoussaye holds an A.S. from Santa Monica College and is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson. She also holds an Interior Design Certification and is a California Public Notary.

Jonathan A. Khoury

Jonathan A. Khoury is a Project Director at DPI Retail, where he oversees the leasing, property acquisitions and property dispositions of the company portfolio which encompasses over 1.5 million in rentable square feet and 250 tenants. In this role, Mr. Khoury is responsible for the establishment and implementation of strategies to optimize the overall performance of commercial real estate investments, with a focus on improving the underlying asset's value and maximizing returns by significantly improving each asset's operations. Prior to joining DPI Retail in 2022, Mr. Khoury was a Portfolio Manager at Pegasus Asset Management, where he was responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the company. Mr. Khoury was the third employee of the company assisted in the build out of each segment of the Asset Management arm including, property management, accounting, leasing, development & project management. During Mr. Khoury's 5 years at the company, he was able to help grow the portfolio from $65 AUM to over $750 AUM. Before joining Pegasus Asset Management, Mr. Khoury was a Recoveries Accountant for Macerich (NYSE: MAC), where he was responsible for overseeing the reimbursement of all recoverable expenses (CAM, HVAC, utilities and property taxes) for 2 Southern California shopping malls with a gross leasable area of over 3 million square feet. Mr. Khoury received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of San Francisco and lives in the Walnut Acres neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA with his wife, Jumana. Mr. Khoury is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Peter W. Doerken - CEO

Mr. Doerken founded DPI in 1972 and continues to lead the team with decades of experience in direct real estate development, property acquisitions, renovation, construction financing and leasing. He has completed projects in excess of eight million square feet including several community shopping centers, a number of grocery-anchored neighborhood centers, over 25 health care facilities and several multi-family, office, and luxury residential projects throughout the United States. Mr. Doerken's successful track record includes development and financial transactions valued in excess of $3.5 billion. Mr. Doerken is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and has been a multi-year guest lecturer for Crittenden conferences. Mr. Doerken is the Founding Member of The Peter W. Doerken Foundation which works to support vulnerable women and youth in Los Angeles County and supports a number of charitable and philanthropic organizations locally, nationally, and internationally. Additionally, Mr. Doerken has been an instrumental contributor to the Akshaya Patra Foundation in India with their program that is now feeding over 1.8 million children on a daily basis enabling these children to break free from a multigenerational farm worker lifestyle and earn the opportunity to attend some of the finest universities in the world. In turn, many of these beneficiaries of the feeding programs have grown to become leaders in the tech industry both in the Silicon Valley and in and around Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India.

Sharon Sellstrom - CFO

Ms. Sellstrom joined DPI in October, 2006 and is responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, taxation and estate planning for the company, its controlled entities and owners. Prior to joining DPI, Ms. Sellstrom worked as the Executive Director for several ultra-high net worth individuals and prominent California families. Throughout her twenty five years of service to these family offices, Ms. Sellstrom was responsible for management of the firms, overall tax planning, and oversaw the management of substantial portfolios of public securities, real estate assets, oil & gas properties and private equity by means of trusts, partnerships, S corporations and limited liability companies. Ms. Sellstrom began her career at Arthur Young & Co., where she served four years in the tax department. Ms. Sellstrom holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980.
