Andrew graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022 and worked in Edinburgh for a year before making the move to Family Dental Care in August, 2023.
Andrew is committed to continued learning with aspirations of providing excellent quality dentistry. He believes dentistry is all about trust and as such he has undertaken a dental photography course.
Andrew has become proficient with a DLSR camera, so don't be surprised if he wants to take an introral photo as a way to educate and to develop a treatment plan!
Outside of dentistry, Andrew is a very keen cricketer and is delighted whenever an opportunity arises to discuss the topic.

Anne joined the practice in 1981. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1983 although worked mostly in administration and reception where she created a friendly and approachable environment for patients.
In 2010 she gained a qualification in Dental Practice Management as became the Practice Manager.
Anne was part of the management team who planned the expansion and move to our new premises.
Jenny graduated from Newcastle University in 2000 and worked in Newcastle Dental Hospital, in General Dental practice in Gateshead as well as in the Community Dental Service. She completed the examination for Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and moved to Edinburgh in 2003 to study Orthodontics.
Orthodontic training took place in Edinburgh Dental Institute and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. During specialty training, Jenny completed a Masters degree at Edinburgh University. She passed her Membership in Orthodontics examinations in 2006 at the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh. She then did further training in Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Dundee Dental Hospital in order to become a Consultant Orthodontist in the hospital service and successfully completed Fellowship examinations.
Jenny was appointed to a Consultant post at Edinburgh Dental Institute in 2011 and worked there until December 2018. She treated patients with a variety of malocclusions requiring multi-disciplinary care. She teaches within EDI and examines for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Jenny has 3 children and is keen to work in a family orientated practice, so she joined the team at Family dental care in August 2019. Specialising in Orthodontics, Jenny enjoys working with adults and children to help them achieve dental health and a beautiful smile.

Lesley came to Family Dental Care in 1984 as a qualified Dental Nurse. She moved on in 1989 to Edinburgh Dental Hospital where she was Senior Dental Nurse in the Periodontal Department. She returned to FDC in 1985 and during this time she has gained a Further Education Teaching Certificate and is involved in teaching and training student dental nurses.
In 2010 she joined Anne Wyllie on the management team as Practice Manager. She is part of the team who planned and made the move to our new premises.
Matthew graduated from the University of Dundee in 2022, having passed his final exams with distinction.
During his time at University he worked in a dental practice as well as for the NHS during the pandemic. He is interested in all aspects of general dentistry and particularly enjoys restorative dentistry.
Outside of work he enjoys football, travel and socialising with friends.
Pauline qualified from Dundee University in 1986. She has worked in general dental practice in Scotland and in Hong Kong. She has a broad range of experience, having worked in NHS and Private practices and she was a clinical lecturer in Conservative Dentistry at the University of HK.
Pauline thoroughly enjoys all aspects of dentistry and enjoys providing high quality dental care in a caring, gentle manner. She is delighted to be part of the team At Family Dental Care in Prestonpans. In her leisure time, Pauline enjoys walking, cycling and kayaking.
Pradeep is Principal Dentist and General Practice Trainer, qualified from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2004. Moved to UK and registered with GDC after finishing Overseas registration Exam. He has worked in general dental practice in Scotland and in India, gained vast experience. He has special interest in Restorative Dentistry & Dental Implants. Pursued MSc in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry at University of Manchester, had done Ultimate Implant Year Course from SmileTube and currently placing Implants at the practice.
Outside of Dentistry he enjoys playing Cricket and spending time with his family.
