Dr. Wendy Turner was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but as
a young adult she moved around the country working for an office supply
company. When her beloved cat died she decided to change careers, and
returned to college to finish her bachelor's work in biology. She received her
Dr. Turner is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. She is a certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian and is also Fear Free certified.
Dr. Turner joined Exclusively Cats Medical Center of Medford in September of 2023, transferring from Pennsauken Animal Hospital (one of our sister hospitals). She finds all of her work to be satisfying, but "being able to develop a relationship with clients and patients so we can collaborate to maximize health and increase quality of life and longevity" means the most to her.
