Hi, my name is Brooke Hwang, and this will be my 18th year teaching. I have my bachelor's degree from Florida State University in Studio Art and my master's from Liberty University in Marriage and Family Counseling. I have taught elementary art for 13 years and 1st grade for 4 years for Lake County Schools. I moved to middle and high school art this past November for First Academy. I love working with kids of all ages and getting to know their personalities. I was born and raised in Leesburg and have attended First Baptist Leesburg my entire life. I am married with 2 children; my daughter is a Junior, and my son is in 6th grade here at FA.

My name is Carlissa Hartle. I am a native Floridian and grew up in Orlando. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and am state certified in Music K-12 and Elementary Education. I taught Elementary Music for two years in Orlando before I married my husband Allan and had children. I had four boys. I took some time off and later taught 4th grade and Music at what is now Real Life Academy. I have been at First Academy for three years in Computer Science and thoroughly enjoy being here.

My name is Holly Gray and I have been teaching at FA since I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic in 1996. I have taught 5th grade and Kindergarten. Currently, I am in the Media Center where I teach elementary Library, study halls, and yearbook class. I was born in Leesburg and have attended First Baptist Leesburg since I was 2 weeks old. My husband, Gary, and I have two children and a granddaughter on the way! As a family, we enjoy boating and fishing days together.

My name is Luke Lea. This will be my fourth year at FA as a PE teacher and varsity boy's basketball coach. I graduated from First Academy in 2014. I received my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University in 2018, and my master's degree in Education from DBU in 2019. I have been married to my wife, Emma, for two years. We are expecting our first daughter, Lacey, this fall!
