Beth Powell

Job Titles:
  • Accounts / Payroll Manager
Michael commenced his building career as an apprentice carpenter and joiner in 1981 straight after finishing high school. He has been involved in both the commercial and residential construction industries but he especially enjoys working in the residential extension industry as he appreciates the more detailed and personal aspects related to each individual project. He has experience as a Site Foreman and Contracts Administrator in his early years in commercial work and then as an Estimator in both new homes and renovations. Michael first commenced estimating at Extend a Home in 1992. In 2005 he left to further his experience with a leading new home builder before returning to us in 2016. His skills and experience help to bring your project in on budget.

Chris Bonnici

Beth previously worked in the finance industry in Sydney CBD for 15 years before starting her career in the building industry. She started with Extend a Home in April 2016. Beth is responsible for the day to day processing of the Accounts Payable/Receivable and managing all facets of Payroll and HR.

Ethan Hirst

Hope is the most recent addition to the Extendahome team having commenced her role as Client Relations Officer in June, 2018. Hope will more than likely be the first person you speak to when you call us. As well as her Receptionist duties she helps guide clients through the approval process by dealing with councils and statutory authorities plus she also assists her colleagues on many levels ensuring their project runs as smoothly as possible. Hope also thoroughly enjoys organising Extend a Home's social events and is particularly passionate coordinating Extend a Home's annual charity fundraiser Extend a Cup.

Michael Johnston

Ethan began his Construction career with Extend a Home in 2015 as an apprentice carpenter and joiner. After completing his apprenticeship he has continued on with his studies by undertaking a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) Degree through The University of Newcastle, alongside transitioning into his current role as our Production Estimator.

Nick Wolczak

Chris commenced his building career as an apprentice carpenter and joiner in 1985. Chris holds a building licence and he owned and operated his own building company for 14 years working hands on and learning his craft in first floor additions. He commenced working for Extend a Home as a contractor in 1992 and then made the successful transition to Construction Supervisor in 2003. Since then Chris has proved to be a very caring and resourceful manager of our home additions. Chris is well liked and highly regarded by all our clients he has worked with.

Peter Wisniewski

Nick has been part of the Extend a Home team since 1999. He completed his Building Diploma attaining 1st place in the college in 1998. Nick is also a licensed builder. Nick has been the Contracts Manager since 2005. With Nick's familiarity of many design facets, regulatory body rules and guidelines he will guide you between the design and construction phases. Nick will share his skills, experience and technical expertise with you to ensure your project incorporates all the necessary fittings and fixtures to your level of expectation. Tony O'Neill - Managing Director

Peter commenced his building career as an apprentice carpenter and joiner in 1981, working hands on and learning his craft in first floor additions. Peter is also a licensed builder. Peter commenced working at Extend a Home in 1986. During his long career he has also had experience in Estimating and Construction Supervising and has been the Construction Manager for almost 20 years. Known as a perfectionist builder who is especially dedicated to craftsmanship he enjoys overseeing every construction project from the beginning to completion, and as the other founding director he is enthusiastic about every day on the job.
