ASHLEE BENNETT

As a new BSN graduate from VSU, Ashlee began her career at Tift Regional Medical Center. She soon found herself at Georgia Home Health as a full time case manager where she worked her way into the PI Coordinator position. Ashlee thrives on staying ahead of the constantly changing rules and regulation in healthcare, but when she isn't working she is taking care of her entertaining four year old son.

CAREN BENNEFIELD

Caren has been a nurse for over 27 years and in home health for 25 years. She has been employed with Georgia Home Health for over twenty years. Caren is married with three adult children and one grandchild. When Caren is not working she enjoys the outdoors doing things like hunting and kayaking.

CHRISTA FANN

  • MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE
After working in a closely related healthcare field, she joined Georgia Home Health in 2009 as a Marketing Representative. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Communication and Science Disorders. Her responsibilities include working with doctors, patients and families in arranging home health services.

CINDY VANLANDINGHAM

Cindy is a native of Nashville, Georgia. She graduated from Valdosta State with a Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Finance Economics and Business Education. Cindy has been in the medical field for over 17 years in home health/hospice services. She has been married for over 32 years and has 3 children. Her hobbies she liked to do outside of work are cooking, motorcycle riding, and spending time with her family and fur baby, Roxie.

DAWN THOMPSON

Dawn is a native of Irwin County. She received her Associates Degree of Nursing at South Georgia State College and later completed her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at South University. Dawn has over 14 years of nursing experience including ICU, Endoscopy, and Home Health. Eight years of her nursing experience has involved nursing leadership roles. She enjoys challenges, and most of all being able to help others. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family camping and being outdoors.

JOY BROWN

  • CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
Joy works in our Tifton Office as the clinical supervisor. She has over 14 years of nursing experience, including long term care, hospice, and home health care. She enjoys the personal connections that are formed when getting to spend the time educating the patient in the home setting. For her, seeing her patients improve is very rewarding. Joy brings to the company her love for patient care. She strives to be a role model for staff of someone who is always expressing compassion for each patient that we care for. When not working, Joy enjoys taking trips, kayaking, and camping with her family.

KAREN HERNDON

Born in South Georgia, Karen is the mother of two children and grandmother of one special little girl, Olivia. Karen holds her Nursing Home Administrator's license in addition to being an LPN. Most weekends Karen and her husband Phil can be found at their retreat in Keaton Beach, FL where they fish, snorkel and swim. They both enjoy travel and when able to get away, love cruising.

KARI SNOW

Kari is a native of Hahira. Nursing has always been her passion, even as a child. Upon graduating from nursing school, she worked on the med/surg floor at SGMC where she gained extensive knowledge and valuable nursing skills before becoming a part of the Georgia Home Health Team where she has now worked for over four years. Kari loves working with patients in their homes, but when she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

KIM PURVIS

Kim is our clinical supervisor in our Valdosta Office. She has been a nurse for over six and half years. She graduated with her Associate's Degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Her nursing has included ICU, Hospice, and Home Health. She enjoys taking on challenges and has a passion for helping others. When Kim is not working, she loves spending time with family and cheering on her son at the baseball field.

REBECCA VICKERS

Rebecca has been a nurse for over 20 years. When Rebecca is not working she enjoys running and watching baseball games.

TOM POTEET - CEO

Job Titles:

Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Auburn University. After graduation, he served as a Nursing Home Administrator and then began his lifelong career in the hospice and home health fields. In 1996, Tom founded his first home health care agency in Chattanooga, TN, which eventually sold to a large long-term care company. He continued with them as the VP of Home Health, managing the nationwide network of agencies as well as acquiring new agencies and performing startups. In 2000, Tom founded Guardian Home Care and Hospice which grew to a large network of offices in multi states. In 2010, he transitioned to Georgia Home Health and continues today as a partner and CEO. With the acquisition of Hearth Hospice in 2014, Tom has now realized both of his life long career goals. Home health care allows Tom and his team to assist patients with more short term health care needs return to full functionality. And with hospice they have the additional honor of loving and caring for patients and their families during the end of life journey. Tom lives in Chattanooga with his wife, Monique and their three children.

TONYA LAND
