Georgia Oil & Gas Limited (GOG) was founded in 2008 in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). The first licenses were acquired in April 2011 from its shareholder company NOC (Norio Oil Company). GOG is the 100% owner of Georgia Oil and Gas Limited (Georgia Branch), which serves as the representative office, and Norio Operating Company Limited, which acts as the operator for GOG's field operations.
