GEOTOM

GeoTom, LLC was formed in 1996 by Dr. Daryl Tweeton. He was a research physicist with the U.S. Bureau of Mines until it closed in 1996. He worked in tomography starting in 1986, and first published tomographic software, BOMTOM, in 1988. He has been working with 3D seismic tomography software since 1995. Continued revisions to increase efficiency and reliability have been guided by requests from users and by data processing done in-house. Dr. Tweeton has also collected field data for tomography and various other geophysical methods. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and holds two patents in geophysics.
