Here at Greenwood Christian Martial Arts Academy, Our mission is to teach Honor, Self Defense, Discipline and to instill in them a leadership mindset that is in alignment with the Word of God... The Greenwood Christian Martial Arts Academy incorporates martial arts discipline in unison with Christian discipleship. At the Core of our Curriculum is taught HONOR, RESPECT, and SELF-CONTROL. Honor is (1) Treating everyone as special (2) doing More than what's expected & (3) having a good attitude. We highly recommend parenting materials from "The National Center for Biblical Parenting" for more resources such as "say goodbye to whining" and the "Parenting is Heart Work" curriculum... Our Taekwondo Students learn the traditional ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) Forms. ITF Forms are gounded in combat techniques in terms of their patterns, kicks, strikes, blocks and stances. We integrate Conditioning, kickboxing, introductory grappling, and simple hapkido techniques to each belt..
