GROWING GLOBAL KIDS

ABOUT ME: Wife to the perfect man for me. Mother of 2 little girls. Believer, advocate, domestic disaster, photographer, traveler, adventurer, beach lover and slightly hippie. I believe that I can change the world…I just never imagined it would look like this... ME AND MY BOOK: I'm a lot of things (see above). But I'm not a writer. And yet last year I became convinced that I was supposed to write a children's book to empower kids and families to make a difference. So in spite of all my fears of criticism and failure, and in spite of the fact that I had no spare time and was deeply unqualified, and with incredible amounts of support from my amazing husband, I wrote the book. I have no idea why I was supposed to write it and I have no clue what will come of it. But if ONE more child is sponsored because of it, or if ONE child feels empowered to make a difference because of it, then all the blood, sweat and tears to get this book out there will have been worth it.
