Dr. Nanavati earned his doctor of dental surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry (with honors) after earning his bachelor's of dental surgery degree from the College of Dental Surgery in Mangalore, India, and his master's of dental surgery in oral surgery from the Moscow State Medical Stomatological Institute in Russia. He currently serves as a Reserve General Dentist in the U.S. Army Medical Command Dental Corps. Dr. Nanavati brings a unique blend of experience and training to his practice. He speaks English, Russian, Hindi, and Gujarati and is learning Spanish. His certifications include Braces, oral implantology, and Invisalign clear aligners, and he is licensed in the state of Texas to provide Level 1 sedation for his patients. This experience and training allow him to provide a wide range of dental services to his patients, using the latest tools and techniques to create beautiful, healthy smiles in a comfortable, caring manner. During the course of his career, Dr. Nanavati has been honored to serve as a dentist in the rural areas of Karnataka State and to participate in the World Polio Eradication Program with the World Health Organization. He has also attended dental camps to help bring low-income patients needed dental care, and also provided dental services to all age groups through the School for Blind People. Dr. Nanavati is a current member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
