Andrew Drury

Andrew served as a volunteer with a number of local charities over the years and is excited to be a part of Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce. As a lawyer he is aware of the obstacles and expenses that make it difficult for people to own their own home, and what it means when they achieve that goal.

Kim Davison

When Kim joined the Board of Directors in 2022, the availability of affordable housing in Grey and Bruce Counties had reached new lows. Kim is determined to explore and seize opportunities to help overcome the gap in affordable housing and is ready to serve the community through Habitat for Humanity to deliver results. A senior manager at Bruce Power and a professional chemical engineer, Kim brings with her over 20 years of experience in Property & Facility Management, Capital Planning and Asset Management, Construction Projects, and Supply Chain Management. Kim is energetic about climate change and serves on the board for Bruce Power Net Zero Inc, a new entity committed to decarbonizing Ontario and advancing clean energy technologies to achieve a net zero future. As an avid cyclist, Kim volunteers with Town of Saugeen Shore Bicycle Friendly Committee to help lead Saugeen Shores in developing partnerships to support cycling and to build new infrastructure to make cycling safer and more convenient.

Melissa Ringel

Melissa joined the Board in 2021. She brings to the Board her background and experience in both Law and Human Resources. She is currently a Director of Human Resources and the Code of Conduct Officer at Bruce Power. Melissa has previous volunteer experience working with the Canadian Cancer Society, Owen Sound Minor Soccer and her husband's charitable initiative, Baywest Nissan Kidz. Melissa is excited to be a part of an organization that is passionate about social responsibility through innovative and affordable housing solutions.

Mike joined the Board in 2020. He is retired having worked 33 years as a Professional Engineer with the Ministry of Transportation and Grey County. He enjoys being with people and volunteering.

Shane Chegahno

Shane Chegahno is the Vice President and co-founder of Makwa Development Inc, a 100% indigenous owned company based in the Saugeen Ojibway Nation Traditional Territory at Neyaashiinigmiing on the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. Makwa Development is currently executing on a number of projects within the Nawash community and energy projects within the SON traditional territory. As a successful entrepreneur Shane has accumulated an extensive background in the Forestry and Construction industries. Shane has been nationally recognized for his innovative work in Indigenous housing for the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. He continues to support his passion of affordable housing for families through ongoing volunteer work. Shane has also received numerous awards for his dedication to his community, volunteer work, and involvement with minor sports.

Steve Dickie - Chairman

Steve has been involved in real estate sales since 2005 and most recently has been the Broker/Manager of the Royal LePage RCR Realty offices in Wiarton, Hanover and Owen Sound. Steve first got involved with Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce in 2009 when homes were being built in Wiarton and has been a frequent volunteer ever since. Steve also has prior board experience as a long-time member of the Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound.
