Hillcrest Baptist Church of Carlisle Ohio is a congregation of Southern Baptist believers sharing the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Join us for worship, praise, and fellowship. On November 14, 1954 a group of people met at the Carlisle Community Building (known today as the Carlisle Town Hall) establishing "a Southern Missionary Baptist Church" in the community. In June 1955 the Carlisle Mission Church was formerly constituted as Hillcrest Baptist Church with 50 charter members. Starting as a mission church from First Baptist Church, Germantown, Ohio, Hillcrest became mission minded and became the sponsor of several new church starts: Waynesville Baptist, Pekin Mission, Riverview Baptist, Amanda Baptist and University Baptist.
