What is your area of specialty - how do you best help your clients?
I have in-depth experience with financial statement reporting, tax and financial planning, transaction consulting, and financial and wealth management strategies. I enjoy working with individuals and business owners, providing solutions that add value and help drive their continued success. My specialty areas include tax strategies and planning, wealth strategies and planning, financial reporting, succession planning, and transaction consulting for individuals and closely-held businesses.
I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University.
I joined the firm in 2000 after two tax internships and was promoted to Senior Manager in 2011. I then became a Shareholder in 2014. I now lead the A&A and Trust and Estate Teams at HN.

What is your area of specialty - how do you best help your clients?
My area of specialty is in recruiting, campus engagement and on-boarding. I best help jobseekers looking to pursue a career in public accounting and connecting them with the right opportunity for them! I enjoy getting to know all candidates on a personal and professional level to understand their career goals and how I can best help get them where they want to be in their career.
I work with local schools, colleges and universities on coordinating and attending campus engagement events to recruit top talent to our firm. I work with new hires on making sure their on-boarding process is seamless and welcoming. I work with current employees, Managers and Partners in discussing staffing needs to help aid in filling any gaps in staffing.
My career started with earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. Beginning in the fall of 2022, I will be attending Grand Valley State University's College of Business in order to earn my Master of Business Administration. I am also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, have my Gusto People Advisory certificate, and am certified with bill.com.

My specialties include QuickBooks training, implementation, and customization. I have a lot of experience with cleaning up client files using a variety of different programs but QuickBooks is definitely the program that I have the most knowledge of.

I currently specialize in state and local government, non-profit and for-profit audits. I best help clients by staying up to date with new accounting pronouncements and providing accurate information to clients when they have questions about how financial information should be reported.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2004 and a Master's Degree in Accounting in 2005 from Walsh College. Since 2007 I have been licensed as a CPA in the State of Michigan.

I am a tax specialist that helps clients with both compliance and consulting. I am the go to person in areas including state and local taxes, qualified opportunity funds, tax research, and news updates. Much of my work within the firm involves researching difficult issues, developing internal education & best practices, doing quality control in the tax area, and providing additional support and review of work for other professional's clients.

I joined Hungerford Nichols in 2019 and bring a wide and unique range of experience to the firm. I graduated from Metropolitan Community College of Omaha with an Associate of Science Degree in Culinary Arts and began a career as a Chef and Restaurant Manager.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am also a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA), Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), and a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor.

I am a manager on the Accounting Solutions Team and work with businesses and organizations on start-up and business services, and accounting and financial analysis and reporting. I am also instrumental in internal staff training and process management.

I am a tax-specialist with a focus on closely held businesses and not-for-profit entities. In the for-profit sector, I serve a wide range of industries including health care, manufacturing, cannabis, and real estate. I find it best to never take a one size fits all approach as each client's needs and circumstances are unique to them. I create value for and help my clients by listening and providing them with advice in both compliance and advisory roles, enabling them to focus on what matters most in their business or personal life.
