Alexander Herz qualified in 1996 from Martin-Luther-University in Halle/Saale, Germany.
After that, he completed postgraduate training programs with degrees in implantology, periodontology, aesthetic dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Alexander is the owner of a dental clinic in Vechta, Germany.
He is a dedicated general dentist with a focus on aesthetic and minimally invasive dentistry. In 2014 he became familiar with the IAS Academy and now is an enthusiastic user, as he finds simple orthodontics a game-changing tool for his everyday practice. Since 2017 Alexander is a Clear Smile Inman Aligner Mentor involved in the training of German dentists and their support on the forum.

Andrew Qualified from Queens University Belfast 1998 and has a private practice in Northern Ireland.
Andrew has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and lectures regularly on cosmetic dentistry, including cosmetic tooth alignment, tooth whitening and is a trainer for the IAS Academy, teaching dentists how to use removable appliances, fixed braces and clear aligners. He also teaches the Align, Bleach and Bond course. Andrew also runs introductory talks and study clubs and is known for his friendly and approachable manner.
In 2014 Andrew completed his MClinDent in Prosthodontics (Fixed and Removable) from Kings College London dental institute and is the Vice President and a director of the European Society of Aesthetic Orthodontics.
Andrew is an active Member of the Irish Academy Of Aesthetic Orthodontics and is on their conference committee and regional representative of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

He was well-loved by course attendees and colleagues alike for his captivating presentations in which he had a talent for delivering serious content with a unique sense of self-deprecating humour.
As well as being one of IAS Academy's most valued and talented trainers, Anoop was active in many international dental bodies and a benefactor to charities and good causes.
He also ran three dental practices alongside wife Dr Neera Maini and was committed to developing minimally invasive orthodontic techniques to resolve their many patients' everyday issues.
Anoop's passion, drive and enthusiasm for dentistry was infectious, and he brought learning and laughter to everyone he met. His good spirit and humour are sorely missed by the many who gravitated towards him.
His passing is a true loss to the profession to which he gave so much.
Dr Chatoo qualified as a Dentist from King's College, London in 1993 and gained his Master's Degree in Orthodontics at GKT Dental Institute, London in 2001. He received specialist training in Lingual Orthodontics in Paris in 2002. He is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry.
In 2005 he opened The London Lingual Orthodontic Clinic, the first clinic in the UK dedicated to lingual Orthodontics. Asif has lectured around the world on a variety of topics, on lingual orthodontics, adult treatment and digital technology. Last year he lectured at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, in Tunisia at the first ever meeting of the Tunisian Lingual Orthodontic Society and at the British Orthodontic Conference.
He is the Secretary of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of ESLO 2018. Dr Chatoo is the only orthodontist accredited by both the World and the European Lingual Orthodontic Societies.
Claudia Is a full-time IAS Clinical Trainer and Mentor, she dedicates most of her time to the IA and CSA forums, she has assessed and mentored hundreds of ortho cases from case selection, treatment, permanent retention to aesthetic restoration for general dentists all over the world for the past 3 years. She teaches the IA Certification Course and a hands-on Anterior Aesthetics class.
She is a national and international speaker. She was a Clinical Lecturer at the Institute for Dental Learning on Aesthetics, Total Rehabilitation and Laboratory Communication. She has been in dentistry for 26 years in the USA. She has done advanced studies on Periodontics, Orthodontics, Aesthetics and Rehabilitation.

Dr. David O'Malley graduated from Trinity College Dublin Dental Hospital and School in 2009 and currently practices in Bendigo VIC.
From the outset he was on the look out for new, innovative techniques and treatments for his patients. This led him to become a certified Inman Aligner user in 2010.
David is now a certified Inman Aligner Trainer for Australia and New Zealand.
He has also continued to broaden his knowledge of Aesthetic Orthodontics utilising Aligners and short term fixed appliances.
With 5 years of very active Inman Aligner use he has treated a wide variety of cases. He enjoys sharing his knowledge on our IA forums.
Dr Alina Lazar has her own dental practice since 2001. She has a specialisation in Implantology since 2007 and in Aesthetic Dentistry since 2012. In 2013 she got her Certification for Inman Aligner and Digital Smile Design. 2014 IAS Advanced Training Course 2016 IAS Advanced Ortho Restorative.
In 2016 she published her first article in Dental Tribune International 03. 2016 and 2018 the second article in Orthodontic Practice.
In 2017 she became a certified member for European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry and also Country Chairperson for Germany. 2017 Laser Certification

From September 2018 she is the chairperson for International Affairs at ESCD Expanded Executive Committee.
She participated in several conferences with her lecture: Make it easy - A Concept in Aesthetic Dentistry and as a moderator at the congress Divas in Dentistry.
Dr Darren Cromey has worked as a GDP since graduating from Glasgow University in 1999. He worked in Glasgow for 5 years before moving to Dublin, where he established his own niche practice providing braces for the last 12 years.
He has used a wide variety of appliances to achieve these goals but now mainly provides fixed appliance solutions. Most recently, Darren completed an advanced comprehensive orthodontic course with Professor Ross Hobson in London. He has since joined the IAS Academy as an instructor and teaches other dentists simple lingual braces, in the UK.
Darren has a keen interest in safe orthodontic treatments and is a director of the European Society Aesthetic Orthodontics which advises dentists taking on orthodontic treatment. Darren's ethos is to bring out the best in his patients' teeth - with Orthodontics and o en composite to give the biggest impact smile.

Dr Daz Singh graduated in dentistry from Liverpool in 2005 and after developing a passion for changing lives through dentistry he co-opened a private practice in Liverpool to deliver dentistry in a comfortable boutique environment. The clinic went on to win several awards.
Daz's passion focuses on providing tooth-preservation dentistry through minimally invasive restorative techniques combined with orthodontics utilising simple appliances and clear aligners. His skill set in this area and passion to share knowledge led to Daz teaching and lecturing for some of the biggest clear aligner and fixed brace companies in the world. He has influenced 1000s of dentists who comment on his clear explanations, attention to detail and humble nature.
Daz has always had a passion for technology in dentistry and integrates digital protocols and intraoral scanning into his everyday practice when considering smile design and planning cases. He has trained dentists in digital protocols and also given keynote lectures on the business of running a modern practice.
He is also the Past President of the European Society of Aesthetic Orthodontics and an active member of both the British & American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry
Daz recently joined the IAS Academy as an instructor and mentor bringing his expertise of digital treatment planning and clear aligner therapy to its members.
Dr Emma Dougherty qualified in 2002 from the University of Glasgow. Emma worked in Maxillofacial surgery and Orthodontic departments for 2 years and gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. Emma has practiced in Northern Ireland for the past 12 years working as a GDP in mixed practices.
Over the past 6 years, Emma's passion for minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry attracted her to the IAS Academy. She has worked through all of the IAS courses becoming the second fully accredited member of the Academy. Having competed Prof Hobson's IAS advanced course in 2016 Emma became a mentor for Clear Smile Brace. She gets immense satisfaction in helping other dentists starting out on the journey she did some years ago. In addition to online mentoring, Emma assists with teaching on the Clear Smile Brace course and takes case booster courses alongside the rest of mentoring team.
Guy graduated from Newcastle University in 2005 and completed his MFGDP qualification shortly after this.
Guy is an experienced general dentist with focus on aesthetics. His aim is to give his patients a natural and functional dentition.
He has completed extended courses in restorative dentistry, occlusion and endodontics and over the years has fine-tuned his knowledge by seeing as many leaders in their specific fields of dentistry as he can.
Guy completed the IAS Advanced Course in 2008 and in 2021 was given the opportunity to teach for IAS with the ABB course. Alongside this Guy also teaches composite placement, rubber dam isolation and matrices for the Northern Deanery.
Guy was a partner in a group of practices from 2009-2018 before becoming a clinical Director as the group expanded. He works across 2 sites in North Yorkshire and working predominantly privately provides a mix of restorative and orthodontic treatment alongside being a long-standing Educational Trainer for Dental Foundation Training.
He is a British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) Accredited dentist. James' work has been widely published in the dental press and he regularly lectures and instructs dentists on the art and science of cosmetic dentistry.
His opinions and skills are heavily featured in magazines, on radio and since 2009 James has been the dental expert providing advice and treatment on Channel 4's highly popular, BAFTA winning, Embarrassing Bodies program.
Dr Lawrence Neville is the owner and lead clinician of Spa Dental-a group of four clinics in Sydney, Australia.
During a career in aesthetic and restorative dentistry spanning over a decade, Dr Neville has successfully completed over 750 clear aligner cases and clocked more than 30,000 hours of treatment time.
He is a Platinum Elite provider and key opinion leader for Invisalign, who often runs dental education seminars in his native Australia.
Dr Neville is committed to carrying out one hundred hours of CPD annually. His other areas of interest include dental implants, sleep apnoea, anti-snoring treatments and early years orthodontics.

Following graduation from King's College London in 1995, Dr Neera Maini went on to pursue a special interest in orthodontics, which has seen her complete a diploma from the University of Warwick.
Dr Maini teaches the IAS Clear Aligners course. She provides general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry from her Pinner-based Aqua Dental Clinic and also offers sedation dentistry for nervous patients.
Dr Richard Field graduated with Honours from the University of Glasgow in 2011.
He completed his foundation year in Surrey where he was awarded first prize for his end of year case presentation. He enjoys minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry especially using composite bonding following orthodontics with removable appliances. Richard teaches the IAS Academy record taking and photography course which is fundamental to master as a GDP. Richard is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr Robby Sehmi has been completely focused on excellence and quality from the beginning of his career as a dentist. He established his private dental practice in Northwest Sydney - Finesse Dental in 2008. Since graduation, he has trained extensively in minimally invasive Orthodontics, aesthetics and implant dentistry.
Dr Sehmi quickly adopted the removable appliance techniques into practice 6 years ago and has completed over 400 cases. Dr Sehmi teaches both simple and advanced removable appliance courses and has successfully taught over 400 dentists across Australia.
Currently, Dr Sehmi mentors dentists in all aspects of minimally invasive Orthodontics including removable and fixed techniques and the use of composite incisal edge correction.

Award-winning dentist Dr Shiraz Khan graduated from the University of Birmingham Dental School in 2013 and went on to complete training in restorative dentistry in Croydon University Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas'.
He quickly went on to earn a name as a lecturer of note on the international circuit, where his achievements include addressing EXCIDA's 75th national congress in Tehran.
Shiraz has completed extensive postgraduate training, including completing a masters with distinction in restorative dentistry with the University of Birmingham.
He is the recipient of several prestigious dental awards. In 2017, he was named Best Young Dentist at the Dentistry Awards. He was named the Rising European Star in Dentistry in 2018 and won the best restorative category at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards 2019.
Shiraz's most recent accolade was winning the Fast Track 4 award in recognition of his commitment to dentistry and potential future-leader status.
Shiraz is director of the Young Dentist Academy and currently in private practice at Devonshire Place, Chelsea and Fulham.
Dr Shiraz Khan graduated from the University of Birmingham Dental School in 2013. Having successfully completed foundation training and winning several prizes. He works in private practice in the heart of London. Shiraz has been invited as a keynote speaker to lecture nationally and internationally on the subject of aesthetic dentistry and several prestigious events.
Shiraz has been awarded a distinction his Masters in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Birmingham. Recently he won the Fast Track 4 Award in recognition of his commitment to dentistry and becoming a leader of the future and has won the Best Young Dentist 2017 award. at the Dentistry Awards. He has also been recognised as ‘The Rising European Star in Dentistry 2018' and won a restorative category in the prestigious Aesthetic Dentistry Awards 2019. Most recently his hard work and efforts were recognised by the Young Dentist Academy who appointed Shiraz to become The Director.
Dr Svendsrud graduated as a dentist from the University of Oslo 1987. He has been in private practice in Oslo, Norway since 1990 with a special interest in preventive and supragingival, minimally invasive dentistry.
He has been inspired by his mentors Sverker Toreskog and Bjorn Zachrissons way of thinking about dentistry.
Dr Svendsrud is the former president of SAED (Scandinavian Academy of esthetic dentistry) and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
Since 2012 he has been working closely with Tif Qureshi and is now an IAS mentor for Norwegian dentists.
Geoff graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BDS and completed his MFDS soon after from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.
He took an interest in orthodontics by first completing the Inman aligner course back in 2011. He refined his skills for a year before progressing to clear aligners, quickly followed by anterior fixed and subsequently, discreet orthodontics.
He is an accredited member of the academy and won the best discreet case at the 2018 IAS world symposium. Geoff completed the advanced fixed orthodontics course in 2019, under the watchful eye of Prof Hobson. He is an IAS mentor for removable appliances.
For the past ten years, Geoff has worked in a mixed NHS/private practice in a small village in Scotland, where he treats a broad spectrum of patients. He is always keen to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for orthodontic and cosmetic treatments.

Ivan Katalinic received his dental degree from the University of Zagreb, School of Dental Medicine. He was a student assistant at the Department of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, awarded with the Rector's Award for the best scientific research.
He has published several scientific papers in respected international journals. Dr. Katalinic is a member of the European Society of Esthetic Dentistry (ESCD) and the Croatian Endodontic Society (CES). He is working as a general dental practitioner/clinical manager in a private office in Zagreb, Croatia and is finishing his PhD postgraduate studies at the University of Zagreb. In the clinic his main focus is on minimally invasive esthetic dentistry through different clear aligner systems and ABB Concept (Align, Bleach, Bond).
Kaj graduated from Helsinki University, Finland in 1982 and have since been working as a private practitioner in Helsinki. For the last 20 years, he has been focusing on esthetic dentistry and rehabilitation of the masticatory system. His views on occlusion are very much based on the training in the Dawson Academy.
Kasia graduated from Medical University of Silesia in Katowice - Poland.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, always open-minded about new and innovative dental techniques, including cosmetic tooth alignment.
Experience with Inman Aligner encouraged her to focus on minimal invasive, cosmetic dentistry using short term removable orthodontic appliances.
Her professional purpose is continuous development, especially in area of aesthetic dentistry. She's happy to share the knowledge, that's why she became the Inman Aligner trainer. One of the first dentist in Poland using Inman Aligner.
Kelly Toft qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas' in 2003 and completed VT training in Dorset. She worked as a clinical supervisor at the Otago dental school in New Zealand for a year before returning to the same practice and has been there ever since!
Kelly has always had an interest in orthodontics and found IAS Academy fulfilled her need to be able to integrate it in general practice. She completed the Inman course in 2015, then worked her way up to completing the Advanced course in 2019.
She is a trainer and mentor on the fixed and aligner forums. Always happy to give advice and tips she's picked up along the way. She lives in Dorset with her husband and two children.
Michael started his career in the German Army as a paratrooper medic, spending a year in the service from 1991.
After his time in the military, Michael studied at the dental school in Georgia Augusta Goettingen. He qualified in 1997. Upon graduating, he worked as an associate until 2006, when he opened his own clinic.

Ross graduated from the University of Newcastle. He is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry, and Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Glasgow, Edinburgh and England. His MDOrth is from the RCPS Glasgow). He was the first dentist to be awarded the prestigious Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. His specialist orthodontic training was completed in Dundee. He has published over 60 refereed articles on Orthodontics, hypodontia, dental materials and education. He was appointed to the Chair in Orthodontics at UCLan to develop part-time specialist orthodontic training in primary care.

Rikke graduated from Aarhus School of Dentistry in 1997. She has a full Dawson Curriculum and has specialized in the minimally invasive aspects of the dental profession with a special interest in Composite treatments.
Rikke is a IAS Academy trainer in Denmark, and she also offers small hands- on workshops of Clinical Photography in private practice. Rikke is the owner of two private practices with a total of 22 employees. In addition, she is active on the board of the Danish Dental Association, middle region.
In her spare time Rikke is active in different network organizations; The Danish Management Society (VL), and Junior Chamber International (JCI) in which she was National President in Denmark in 2008. Privately Rikke is married and has 2 grown children and two miniature dachshunds.

Tif is founder and a clinical director of IAS Academy, an International faculty that provides mentored education for general dentists on a pathway from appropriate simple to comprehensive orthodontics.

Course manager Will Neal joined IAS Academy in 2018, after working in customer service and recruitment.
His role involves supporting the clinical training team to deliver IAS' world-renowned orthodontic courses, events and mentoring.
Will enjoys nurturing clinicians through the entire training pathway and attending courses wherever the IAS team goes. He also manages the academy on a day-to-day basis.
Outside of work, Will loves football, fishing and is a keen outdoorsman.
Zaid studied dentistry at the University of Liverpool, graduating with honours in 2008.
Following this he moved to Newcastle to start his General Professional Training, rotating through the various dental departments at Newcastle Dental Hospital as well as working in a dental practice in Durham. During this time he was awarded a Membership in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. In 2010, he moved to London to work as a senior house officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal London Hospital and Paediatric Dentistry at Guy's Hospital.
In 2012 he started his three-year full-time training course in Orthodontics, based at Guy's Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton. On completion, he graduated with a distinction in his Masters of Science degree and was awarded a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal of College of Surgeons of Edinburgh allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council.
During his training, he was fortunate enough to present his research in national and international conferences. He is a member of the British Orthodontic Association, European Orthodontic Society and American Association of Orthodontists.
He currently practices in Tunbridge Wells and is happy to accept referrals.
