INCAWASI

Incawasi is a small not for profit organization that provides a nurturing and safe environment to help improve the educational, nutritional, health, social situation and general well-being of our beneficiaries and their families from the disadvantaged areas of the northern Andean city of Cajamarca in Peru... Incawasi was founded in the Northern Andean city of Cajamarca, Peru in March 2005 by a team of local and foreign volunteers. Given the realities that affect many impoverished families in Peru, the organization has dedicated itself to fighting the root causes of poverty and social inequality. We do so by providing the children we work with a safe space in which they can grow, learn, eat warm daily meals and receive the medical attention they need to grow into healthy, educated adolescents...
