Jason Richardson

Jason graduated in 1999 from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He started his career immediately after college for a commercial contractor, first as an Assistant Project Manager and later as an On-site Project Manager/Superintendent. Jason has worked in several highly sensitive environments including a major airport security expansion post 9/11 that helped boost his career into a full-time Project Manager in 2005. Jason's leadership style is based upon trust and respect - just ask any subcontractor. He is a prime example of what is possible when we lead with kindness. His positive approach and wiliness to get down in the trenches with the team are what make him such a great leader.

Kevin Hooper - CEO

CEO Kevin has worked in the construction industry since 1995, handling a variety of responsibilities including Project Engineer, Superintendent, and Project Manager. A 1994 graduate from the University of New Hampshire, Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Kevin is EIT certified and is registered as a LEED Accredited Professional for New Construction and Commercial Interiors by the Green Building Certification Institute. Kevin's inspirational and kind leadership style provides a foundation that inspires our Jamerson-Lewis team members to grow and achieve excellence. His loyal commitment to family and community are just a small part of what makes Kevin such a great partner. His natural ability to observe, analyze, and coordinate complex construction scheduling details is invaluable. Kevin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Academy Center of the Arts, Board of Directors of Central Virginia United Soccer, and the Outreach and Property Committee for Saint John's Episcopal Church.

William Cook - President

President William graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction. His passion and philosophy for construction is based upon a deep understanding and broad knowledge of what goes into the intricate scope and many detailed costs associated with construction estimating. What sets William apart is how he partners with clients to examine the details and provide a client with options and value engineering ideas so together we can make informed decisions. William's leadership style encourages thought provoking innovation throughout estimating, preconstruction, and the business development segments of Jamerson-Lewis. William is devoted to his wife, three children, and his personal commitment to the growth and development of our community. William currently serves as the Chairman of the Jubilee Family Development Center, Secretary of the Virginia Construction Procurement Alliance, and a member of the Lynchburg Covenant Fellowship Board.
