The simplest solution can often be the best solution. Often it's the small changes that yield the biggest results. In a world of limited resources, my work philosophy has been to keep it simple. Even complex challenges can be broken down into achievable steps. This is how "big ideas" can be realized. Once I know the objective, I like to build a plan with the steps broken-out so it is easier for others to understand and execute. Instead of one complex project, it becomes several "simpler" projects. Hopefully, it even becomes easy. I also like to keep the initial focus on the most critical elements that will yield the greatest impact. For instance, when I was tasked with launching the Hisense brand in North America, I put the initial focus on a website and point-of-sale because those where the two primary places customers made purchase decisions.
