Dennis originally moved to the United States from Germany where his father was in the military. He trained originally in the artistry of cosmetology while still living in Germany.
Once he emigrated to the United States he trained at the Paul Mitchell Academy in San Diego where he honed his skills in Color, highlighting, Haircutting and styling.
Dennis has also received advanced education from Schwarzkopf Color, Paul Mitchell Color, balayage, American crew men's haircutting, and Brazilian Blowouts which give the client a beautiful smooth, shiny, hairstyle. He excels after 30 years of experience in all of the latest techniques.
Gabrielle has been a hairstylist for 35 years. She spent the majority of her career desigining fabulous hair designs for her client in Los Angeles, Ca. She recently relocated to Palm Springs Ca where she can be found at The Salon ! at The Ritz- Carlton, Rancho Mirage. Gabrielle has earned the top level of a master colorist after graduating and becoming certified from master classes for Goldwell and Wella Color.
She is also certified in Chi Hair Color which is a vegan based color specializing in impreccable grey coverage. Another of her specialties is highlighting and low lights to give brillance and dimension to any hair color. Highlighting will often allow the client to blend their regrowth to their natural hair color in lieu of a base color as their base grows out. It also is great for someone that does not want to have a base color but just wants sunlight and brillance. Gabrielle has also perfected the smoothing system Brazilian Blow Out with their newest formulation which is a new and improved 3 step system that is completed in 90 minutes. It is an amino acid based product which goes into the cuticle of the hair and strengthens and then seals the cuticle. This creates smooth waves or sleek smoothing styles. Gabrielle does a beautiful round brush blow dry with and without Brazilian Blow Out treatments. To complete her services she is also a licensed manicurists specializing in gel manicures and also fabulous pedicures.
Keri Gutierrez is a 4th generation hair stylist. She has 25 years of specialized experience in both Women's and Men's hair services. She has trained extensively with Goldwell, Schwartkoft, Redkin, and hair cutting / styling professionals. She's a master in color corrections, ombre, balayage & blowouts and blondeing.
Additionally, she has experience with men's hair cuts and straight razor shaves. Her specialties include classic fades, straight razor fades, flat tops, feather cuts, and gentlemen's cuts.
There are no limits to her abilities with hair. When it comes to the perfect cut, color, or shave, Keri's technique will leave everyone feeling flawless and fresh.
Priscilla is an aesthetician with over 15 years experience. She graduated from the International Dermal Institute in New York. She is certified in Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymph Drainage and PCA Chemical Peel.
Toby is a recent desert lover having relocated from Orange County. He has been in the beauty business for the past 17 years and brings his expertise in color, highlights and haircutting to us at J RUSSELL SALON!
Wendy is a master at the Brazilian blowout, men's haircuts, and highlights - especially bold and vibrant reds.
She's been educated through Paul Mitchell, Vidal Sasson, Toni + Guy, Bumble + Bumble, and Aveda.
Her favorite part about working in the beauty industry is creating a difference in people's lives.
Outside of her salon work, she loves cooking, swimming, painting oil and acrylic on canvas, and spending time with her family.
She became a hairstylist because she's an artist, and was drawn and inspired by the artistry of making a person beautiful.
