David Kinloch

Job Titles:

Mr Kinloch specialises in all criminal cases. He has successfully defended everything from murder in the Scottish High Courts all the way down to simple theft by shoplifting cases". He also has speciality in road traffic cases, including dangerous driving, careless driving and speeding. Mr Kinloch is also consulted and instructed by many solicitors in proceeds of crime actions and has a high level of expertise in this matter. On a personal level he has been heavily involved in motorcycles, since the age of 16, currently drives a tuned Honda Fire Blade and a Harley Davidson Soft Tail. He has competed in many track days at all the major European Circuits and is a dedicated biker himself. His son Daniel Kinloch has raced in super stock at a national level at the BSB meetings. He is currently associated to Appleyard.

Rita Kirkland

Rita Kirkland is our legal administrator who supports Kinloch lawyers at the firm by performing administrative duties. Rita assists with greeting visitors, answer the phones, communicate with firm's solicitors, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, manage schedules and run general administration for the office.

Ross Jenkins

Originally from Greenock, our Mr Jenkins studied the LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde, graduating in 2017. He commenced a traineeship in private practice before being admitted as a fully qualified solicitor in 2019. Ross has appeared in Courts all over Scotland, representing clients charged with a wide range of offences, such as assault and contraventions of the Road Traffic Act. He has a particular interest in cases involving persons charged at football matches and was opposed to the, now repealed, Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act throughout his time at University. After gaining an impressive reputation around the Courts, he was hired by our Mr Kinloch in March 2021. Mr Jenkins predominantly works out of our Saracen Street Office, focusing on our extensive criminal practice. His calm, professional and understanding approach has been a huge hit with our clients, who feel confident in his handling of their cases.

Sharon McQuade

Job Titles:
  • Criminal Secretary
Sharon joined the Kinloch Lawyers in early 2017, she is the firm's criminal secretary and office manager. She is based in the Glasgow North Office on Saracen Street. Her friendly face and warm personality help to provide the office with a welcoming atmosphere.
