Erin Purcell is an emerging architect with a diverse experience range. Having worked in New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore over the past 4 years, she has worked with teams large and small, confident in her breadth of knowledge covering various project types. She has gained project experience in higher education, student housing, industrial and maker-space, affordable housing, renovation/preservation, restaurants, and private residences. While at K. Lechleiter Architect and LED BETTER Studio, she has enjoyed the shared passions of community-based design, positive team relationships, and a thoughtful, technical process.

Kathleen Lechleiter

Kathleen M. Lechleiter is an experienced professional with over 30 years of practice as a registered architect including work in Maryland, Washington D.C., and the mid-Atlantic area. She is founder of k.lechleiter ARCHITECT LLC (k.lA), a certified MBE/DBE with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and a Women Owned Business (WBE) with the City of Baltimore. She has extensive experience in both commercial and multi-family housing including historic renovation. Her work is concentrated in the City and includes market rate, affordable, and transitional units with a thorough understanding of the different housing segments and their relationship to the community. Ms. Lechleiter is an adjunct faculty at Morgan State University teaching in the Housing Studio for the School of Architecture + Planning. In addition, she is a Board Member of The Women's Housing Coalition and a member of the Fells Point Design Review Committee. She is a recipient of awards from AIA/Baltimore, AIA/Minnesota, Baltimore Heritage, MD Governor's Housing Conference, and the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials.
