LFM - Key Persons
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 and have spent 30 years advising businesses of all size, both Corporate and individuals, on Accounting, Audit, Tax and advisory matters. Clients are both Entrepreneurial and International businesses.
I am a qualified Audit Responsible Individual. I enjoy working with all business, but particularly faster growth and looking for Capital and Income maximisation. I have acted on many successful client disposals, as well as MBO'S and Acquisitions. Where not audit compromised, I like to work closely with the owners or board of Directors, in a Finance Director or quasi FD role.
I went in to the profession straight from college, I obtained my ACCA qualification in 2010.
I joined LFM in 2008 and I became an associate in 2013, I manage my own portfolio of clients but still work closely with existing clients managing their accounts, tax and auditing requirements.
I have experience with a broad variety of clients, all shapes and sizes. I also enjoy providing hands on business advice and wealth maximisation planning.
In my spare time I like to watch sports and keep active with regular visits to the gym. I am also very keen on photography and motor racing and I try to get out to watch as many events as possible.
I joined LFM (formerly Francis Maxwell) straight from University and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007.
Relocating to South West London, I joined a Top 15 Firm of Accountants where I managed a diverse portfolio of clients. I was involved in the audit of International Businesses, advising clients on exit strategies and was also seconded to the Channel Islands for a 3 month period.
I had a spell out of practice and worked in industry as Head of Finance for luxury brand Diptyque. This gave me a more detailed knowledge of monthly reporting to Group level and being able to put myself in the mind set of "the client".
I returned to LFM in 2014, which had grown considerably in the 6 years that I had been gone.
I graduated with a law degree from Reading in 2004 and then went on to qualify as a chartered accountant in 2009.
I joined the team at LFM after 13 years with a medium sized accountancy, audit and taxation firm.
In my 13 years as an accountant I have developed my own diverse portfolio of owner managed businesses and assisted partners with audit, accounts and taxation assignments. I have a wealth of experience within the small and medium business sector, which enables me to provide a high level of client service - something which I have been commended for throughout my career.
I have a particular interest in making accounting and taxation processes more efficient and providing clients with up to date financials. With this in mind, I have successfully implemented digital procedures in practices and harnessed cloud accounting technology.
