B. Jon Lilleberg has been an attorney since 1991 and is currently an owner of Lilleberg & Hopewell. Since 1991, his practice has focused on commercial and insurance litigation matters. He represents numerous self-insureds and insurance companies in both first and third party litigation, contract and coverage law, trucking litigation, employer liability and general litigation. He has been involved in many complex matters including catastrophic losses and high profile cases.
Mr. Lilleberg has been selected by his peers as a Minnesota "Super Lawyer" in Law and Politics since 2008 and is an AV-Rated Attorney according to Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating available. He is a member of the Minnesota Trucking Association Safety Council, the Transportation Lawyers Association and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.
Mr. Lilleberg is licensed to practice in Minnesota in the 8th Circuit.
In addition to a comprehensive civil litigation practice, Mr. Lilleberg serves as a mediator and arbitrator in commercial and personal injury matters and contract disputes, and is a Qualified Neutral pursuant to the Minnesota Rules. He frequently presents at seminars for clients and other lawyers on various legal issues.
Mr. Lilleberg is a 1986 graduate of the University of Minnesota where he played football under Lou Holtz and was captain in 1985. After college, he worked as a Claims Professional for five years and graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1991. His claim and litigation background is helpful in providing clients with early and accurate case evaluations and in the prompt investigation of larger exposure cases particularly involving the trucking industry, products liability, and subrogation cases.

Paul Hopewell has been an attorney since 1996 and is a founding partner of Lilleberg & Hopewell, PLLC. Paul focuses his practice on insurance and business related civil litigation in commercial, self-insured, and personal lines matters. This includes litigating claims, providing coverage opinions, as well as advising businesses and insurers on risk-management issues. Mr. Hopewell provides comprehensive legal and business advice to employers, as well as commercial and personal insurers. Paul is a lead member of a commercial transportation emergency response team which supervises, advises, and coordinates immediate scene investigations of serious accidents with employees, insurance adjusters, field investigators, accident reconstruction and engineering experts. He has successfully defended numerous civil liability and coverage claims in various automobile-related cases, commercial transportation, landlord-tenant litigation, Dram Shop claims, homeowner insurance issues, and retail and hospitality claims. Paul has handled numerous wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and other catastrophic injury related claims to the satisfaction of his clients. Mr. Hopewell has been voted a "Super Lawyer" in the Minnesota legal profession by the practicing bar in Minnesota Law & Politics on numerous occasions and is an AV Rated Attorney according to Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating. He is a member of the Minnesota Trucking Association, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, Twin Cities Claims Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Prior to law school, Paul was a four-year letter winner and two-year starter for the University of Minnesota Football Team from 1988-1991. Mr. Hopewell continues to enthusiastically follow his Golden Gophers. Outside the office, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and cheering on his three girls, Isabelle, Olivia and AvaMarie, in their various sporting and school events.
